Unfortunately my first time visit to Adept Massage didn't go as well planned(in terms of feeling better after receiving a massage) I needed a massage as I was experiencing some tension in my left side around my neck area and I needed to get this looked at right away. So I connected with Adept and booked myself for an appointment that day.Massage therapist Caleb was nice and polite During my hour long session I didn't realize how intense it would be the area where I had tension felt like it going through the ringer but I did say I never experienced a massage like this before I felt sore for a few days and was having numbness starting around my upper left arm area leading to tingling down my arm which prevented me from getting a comfortable night's sleep. So I decided to call their office to let them of my experience the reception said that this was normal and and I would be feeling like this for a few days. She also said to drink plenty of water. I didn't appreciate that as I felt my concern wasn't being taken seriously I thought I'm not dehydrated I'm sore as a result of the therapist going too hard on my muscles obviously causing nerve irritation. I asked if I could speak to Caleb and he did call me back he said he might of applied too much pressure on my pressure point areas and he offered me to come back again and he would go easier on me next time. I think he should of known that he went too hard on me for my first treatment and perhaps tone it down a bit. I didn't realize that this massage was going to lead to this kind of discomfort Anyhow a week has passed and I still feel a Little bit sore in my arm area so I went to see my doctor and he prescribed me meds for nerve irritation Hope this rectifys the situation and I'll be able to get more sleep at night Going forward will make sure to ask more questions on types of massages that would be better for me and that are...

Hands down the best massage clinic I have ever been with in Winnipeg. I'm on short term disability with shoulder injury from work. My recent massage therapist is Caleb, who is very friendly, honest, professional, with great communication skills. His massage technique is unique, stylish and effective. He knows your muscle and tissue structure so well that his hands and elbows can move on your body very smoothly with precise strength/force/depth as needed. I have gone through a few sessions with him now and I feel good. I'll go back soon.

To be honest, all the massage therapists there are exceptionally good! Alice, John, Caleb and Sophie all have different techniques and styles that work well in different ways( yes they all worked on me). That's why I can always book the appointments that work for me without worrying about not getting good treatment. The facility is always clean and quiet. All staff are friendly, polite and keep everything in professional manor. You are always taken care of.
