Carpet Magic — Attraction in Winnipeg

Our main floor carpeting was installed 15 years ago and had only been cleaned, by us, using a ‘home grade’ Bissell cleaner. There are no children or pets in the house so the Bissell did a ‘decent enough’ job. After so long, though, we really needed it professionally done.

Carpet Magic was referred to us via social media. I reviewed the website; read the online reviews; liked the family ownership situation, had a ‘good feeling about it’ so decided to reach out - also online. Josh replied within minutes. We emailed back and forth and he answered all my questions. Within a few hours we had a date set; this was on a Friday and we were booked for 9am on the coming Tuesday. Very quick in my books.

The lead operator that came to do the cleaning, Thea, was extremely polite, professional, friendly, respectful of us and our home, efficient, and very knowledgeable. He did the living room, hallway, two bedrooms, and a small sunroom. He arrived on time, reviewed the areas to be cleaned (we had moved all the furniture already), brought in his equipment, got to work, and was gone before 1pm. The carpet looked amazing!!! The look! The freshness it brought into the house! Not just the clean carpet but the ‘fresh smell’ again!

We are very happy with the whole experience, including the price. I have always felt that ‘you get what you pay for’ and in this case, what you pay gets you an incredibly clean carpet and superb service all round!

We landed on Carpet Magic's page a few weeks ago when we were looking for a local carpet cleaner with consistent positive reviews. We needed 4 of our area rugs cleaned. Pricing was very reasonable and transparent. During the initial inquiry, Josh, the owner, gave an overview of price per rug and other standard costs. On the day of service, Josh arrived early, assessed the rugs, provided an overview of what to expect and promptly completed the task. We were going to DIY this task, but we saved significant time, effort and had better results by hiring Magic. At the end of his work, Josh did not rush out the door. Instead, he walked us through his finished work and provided helpful tips for maintenance. This one is long overdue! I hired Carpet ‘’Magic’’ because I needed some sort of magic to happen to my carpets because it was that dirty. Josh the owner himself came to fix it. He did a terrific job! I was embarrassed of the conditions of my carpets because it was that dirty. I hadn’t vacuumed in a few months, and dirt and stains had accumulated. Josh was prompt on time. Kept re assuring me, he has seen worse carpets than mine and this is a no brainer. Josh did a thorough pre cleaning, carpet shampooing and vacuuming. Do note a lot of carpet cleaning folks advertise shampooing and cleaning but may not do the vacuuming after the shampooing. He kind of almost revived the carpets to it’s original look! Very impressed by this work! Not just that, Josh is very detailed oriented. Kept picking up each and every spec of dirt that gets missed in the vacuuming separately. Totally worth it! Great guy!
