I went with friends and we did the Rescue from Voodoo Island escape room. It was a great experience, not too scary, but it had a nice spooky atmosphere. Some parts of the room were quite dark, so we had to use our phone flashlights (wish they provide one) to see the codes better. Also, they require you to take off your shoes, and the floor was a bit cold, so I’d recommend wearing thick socks. Overall, it was a fun challenge, and best of all, we escaped!

Very fun. Five of us did the VooDoo one. Puzzles were difficult but not insane and assistance is available if you ask (though you can also tell them no hints). Small jump scares but nothing actually scary (in this scenario). We finished it with 12 minutes to spare so it was hard and fun enough to be worth it.

Room could use more maintenance. Hints were provided without asking. It was strange to have to remove our shoes. Friendly staff.

Great and unique escape room experience! We have done over 100 rooms in total and tried out each of the active escape room brands in Winnipeg during our stay there. Enigma was great and we ended up trying five rooms there (with our personal favorites of voodoo island and murder at Mardi gras). So I would definitely recommend trying out enigma for newbies or experienced escapers alike.

The puzzles were all fun and reasonable (no logic gaps!). We dealt with four game masters and all were knowledgeable and friendly. I loved that this brand picked unique themed rooms that stands apart from the typical overdone fare. I was so excited to try out so many unique ones and they didn't let down. I would say decor is somewhat above average. But my favorite standout feature of almost all the the enigma rooms is that they have a puzzle that is interactive and not a puzzle type we've seen elsewhere. You complete a task which the game master witnesses and then the game master manually activates a reward like opening the next room door. The other puzzles are a good mix of standard locks and more integrated mag lock tech.

All the rooms booked here (and anywhere in Winnipeg) are private. They require a minimum of four people, but they allow smaller groups if four spots are purchased. We escaped all the five rooms we attempted with just two people and only one room actually required three people to accomplish a puzzle, but the game master assisted us when the time came :)

They have three locations with the primary feeling like keenleyside. There is a weird rule at Lorimer that you have to remove your shoes (we went at the end of summer... So I didn't feel the need but obliged). And we stopped by the Corydon location but couldn't find a reception desk that was present at the other two locations so book those before you go to the...

I went to this location for the first time in October 2021. This was my first entertainment outing in over 1.5 years! Myself and 6 friends did Murder at Mardi Gras. It contained 3 rooms in total. The first room was great but the second room was extremely small. There were 7 of us in there. It was very hot, squishy and not easy to move around in at all. Also the second room had an IPAD like device that you had to use for a clue and it was filthy...covered in finger prints. High touch areas really should be sanitized after each group to make your guests feel safer and more comfortable during these crazy times! The third and final room screamed Mardi Gras. A lot of vibrant colours and masks! Very well decorated! We did not escape but we certainly had a great time! This evening brought myself and friends together that I had not seen in over a year and a half! It gave us all a sense of fun old times...a sense of normalcy. Thank you for that! Will I...

Not a great experience. If you're used to The Real Escape Canada, this escape room experience is definitely a tier down in terms of polish, presentation and cleverness. We did the Voodoo room and were able to escape in about 45 minutes, however that was without solving three puzzles (somehow) and being given hints on the in-room screen that assumed we had already solved other puzzles before we had (i.e. the hints did not make sense). In the end, I suppose if you've never been to an escape room before this would be a decent solution, however if you're used to the experience and expect a certain level of quality you'll notice this offering is lacking. I hope they clean things up and improve their overall presentation somewhat, because it's a great location and there's some potential here....but it's...
