Prairie Sage Massage Therapy — Attraction in Winnipeg

I went for a relaxation massage to unwind from stress, but instead felt like I received an intense deep tissue massage. At any point in time, I could have asked for less pressure; however it felt really good so I was conflicted. And thought maybe there was a lot of tension that needed to be worked through. I’ve only had one other massage in Canada several years ago. But it started off with little pressure and then we kept adding more as needed. So I think this one caught me off guard a little with the fact that it started off so intense and strong. Especially being a new client. The music playing was more of top hits played on the radio rather than relaxing spa music. I left the massage with an intense migraine and have found my body to be more sore the next day then when I originally went in. Don’t get me wrong, I found the massage therapist to be really good! I’d even consider trying again but find myself a little unsure and a little conflicted. It felt really good at the time so I didn’t ask for less, but left feeling in worse shape. I hesitate posting this because I don’t think anyone was malevolent or trying to be harmful. I went there about 10 months ago and had a very strange experience. The massage itself was fine. However, my RMT first asked questions about my “spouse” (because I have my wife on my insurance card), which felt like prying and then commented on my arm pit hair as I don’t shave.
