I love Camana Bay. It is so peaceful. Its a awesome place to just sit back and relax. There are alot of restaurants there if you want tk have a nice breakfast, awesome lunch or wonderful dinner. Also you can catch a lovely view of the sunset if you are near the water. Camana Bay is also great for kids. The have a mini and a large water fountain that the kids sure do enjoy. It is totally free so the kids can go and play as much as the want and as long as the want to cool off in the heat. While they are playing you can just chillax a breathe in the fresh air. If you are interested in clothes, shoes and jewelery there are alot of stores there. Need some money quickly there is a bank and several atm there. It is suitable for every age and gender. It is super beautiful, it is clean and its a friendly environment to be in. Its a bit on the pricey side but its a great spot. Did i forget to tell you, well if you are interested there is also apartment right in the heart of Camana Bay that you can rent. I would surely recommend Camana bay to my friend.

Update: the new Fosters Grocer, located to the North is ridiculous. It has everything. Try the hot /cold table bar spread. Enjoy in one of the garden areas outfitted with cafe tables. Water fountains have easy bottle filling spouts. ------------- This Dart Enterprise built and owned development is worth seeing, when in Cayman. "Live. Work. Eat. Shop. Play" is completely true. Top notch restaurants, and a pub. Indoor and outdoor seating throughout. High end boutiques. Grocer. Farmers Market on Wednesday. Cinema. Cooking classes. Restaurant tours coordinated through West Indies Wine Company. Fountains for the kids. Book shop that occasionally brings in famous authors for signings (I met Alan Alda, and Candice Bushnell while they were in town). Boat docks. Canal that opens to the North Sound. Viewing tower, with an incredible mosaic that winds up along the wall of the staircase. Lush foliage everywhere. Hosts many events throughout the year.

We spent the first week of July in the Caymans and often found ourselves returning to Camana Bay at various times of our trip. It is an excellent shopping area with several restaurant options for all times of the day. Union Grill and Agua are just a couple of places we tried there and highly recommend. You also have a gelato shop and Jesse's is a nice spot for cold brew coffee and some breakfast options. There are plenty of lounging areas here and even a nice miniature island with a hammock and some benches you can access via a short bridge. Parking wasn't much of an issue as there was always a spot available. The area also provides free WiFi if needed as well.

We came to Camana bay the day before our flight, to kill time between hotel check out and our flight. Best decision ever! Firstly, go up the observation tower and look at their beautiful murals spanning throughout the walls of the tower (there are also elevators). Then go to the water fountain where the kiddos can play in lukewarm water while you sit at the tables and watch over the bay. The breeze over the warm air while the kids are occupied is so relaxing before leaving the island. The shops are wildly overpriced but still fun to go into and imagine. Don’t leave without visiting Pane and Pasta (separate review coming!)

One word wraps up your experience at Camana Bay: Exquisite! There is plenty to do at Camana Bay from shopping local goods, dining at a large number of absolutely beautiful restaurants, watching a game of football (soccer) at the sports bar, cooling off at the playful water fountain, catching a movie at Camana Bay's cinema, taking a walk up and down in the beautifully decorated Camana Bay Tower, shopping at any one of the many high end retail stores, walking around to simply take in the beauty and listening to the local birds sing. There's so much more to do here while still being surrounded by a tranquil atmosphere.

We had a great experience exploring Camana Bay's restaurants. We selected Abacus Steak and Seafood. I absolutely loved the all you can eat lobster tails that evening. Our server memorized all of our food selections and was extremely attentive to all of us throughout the evening. The manager stopped by and chatted with us as well making sure our experience at Abacus was #1. We will be sure to return to Abacus and other restaurants in Camana Bay upon our next trip to Grand Cayman. Thanks for a Great Experience!
