Museo Palacio Vergara — Attraction in Viña del Mar

It was an interesting experience looking at the painting and the sculptures. Lot of work emotions hidden in the strokes of the painting speaking a million words and sharing a deep story. Some pictures invoked a memory from the past and some pictures just left me without words and with awe. The garden around it is so calm and fresh. Its a beautiful house with beautiful artworks. Free admission, but you will need registration. A beautiful garden surrounding the museum. Its also a nice place to stroll around if you have a free time. The museum itself isnt big, the 2nd floor display something more modern, 1st floor is for something more classic. Enjoyed my visit...

El Museo Palacio Vergara, es el Museo de Bellas Artes de Viña del Mar, en el cual residió la Familia Vergara, El sr José Fco Vergara Echevers fundador de Viña del Mar. En su interior podrá deleitarse con obras de arte, esculturas europeas del renacimiento y Barroco, pinturas chilenas y exposiciones temporales que van rotando con artistas internacionales y chilenos. En sus jardines podrán ver leones, estatuas de querubines, y detrás del palacio un jardín precioso para descansar, sentirse parte de la realiza de esos años y tomar muchas fotografías preciosas, si tiene niños pequeños detrás de este jardín hay "juegos infantiles", o caminando hacia el norte se encontrarán con la Quinta Vergara abierta gratuitamente como todo el Museo Palacio Vergara para disfrutar en familia, amigos o solos.
