A fun ride for 400clp. Worth taking for the fun of it and to enjoy the view of city as you ascend. The start of the funicular going up is at Villanelo Street off Alcarez. You pay for ride at the top end. Do note that if you are using Google maps for directions to the funicular it directs you to the top end of the funicular. The directions takes you up a walkway that is now closed. (See illustration in photos)

Dentro de Valparaíso hay varios funiculares, pero no todos están operativos. Este se ve lindo, lamentablemente ese día está. Cerrado por ser feriado. No sé si será el Villenelo porque dice El Peral, pero es el que se llega subiendo la escalera que está al frente de la escalera de colores.

Dentro de Valparaíso hay varios funiculares, pero no todos están operativos. Este se ve lindo, lamentablemente ese día está. Cerrado por ser feriado. No sé si será el Villenelo porque dice El Peral, pero es el que se llega subiendo la escalera que está al frente de la escalera de colores.

The opening time is correct but remember the last ride arrives up at closing time. Always consider the 5 minutes to go up. So if closing time is at 20:00h be at the lower station at 19:55h to catch...

Atracción turistica en viña del mar es poco concurrido ideal para ir con niños donde conecta la parte alta con el sector céntrico de viña del mar con 2 estaciones y una longitud de 70 metros dónde empezó el año 1983 la entrada cuesta menos de 400 pesos no tiene asi una gran vista sobre la ciudad pero es bacán y es lento así que tienes tiempo de poder sacar fotos buena atención por parte del personal y bajas siempre con alguien que sepa por...
