WARNING: Hongqiao Pearl Market :flagship Xiaomi Store on first floor. Save your time and dont buy anything from this xiaomi store. I bought a defective phone from this store. hey it happens. Products can be defective. The store manager refused to acknowledge the speaker was blown. She brings out another new phone and says Oh they sound the same. Trying to scam me and act like the phone has no problem. Refused to give me a refund. Sends me to the wrong address and tells me I need a test certificate for defect from Xiaomi repair service center. After wasting 2 hours to the wrong location. Found the right location from a chinese walker. . Took me another 2 hours to arrive there. Service center was wonderful. They said the phone was defective and speaker was clearly blown. I had to trek all the way back to this Xiaomi Store where this lady lied.shouted at me and tried to scam me and dishonour my purchase. Later to find out from reading online. Buying any electronics from chinese stores refund maybe a nightmare. STAY far far away from this store. I thought it would be safe to buy the phone from a store that says Xiaomi on it. Some of them are private some of them are official. Its all depending. Dont give any business to this store. I hope they shut down for treating people from outside china...
Read moreHongqiao Pearl Market in Beijing. Even though the name is Pearl Market but you can find the pearl only on the third floor of this market at the accessories and jewelry section. This market is very popular with the tourist for souvenirs and all products made in China, for sure the unique and good one. You can reach this market by subway train line 5 (brown color) stop at the station "TianTan Dongmen" exit C or exit D cross the road to the left and walk about 100 meters.
The interest of this market is a bargainable price to the lowest as possible from the tag price or given price by the sellers and it could be as lower as 50% to 60%.

Overall, this market building is clean and bright with some elevators and escalators going up and down. Quite an easy and comfortable...

However, I honestly warn to all internationals visiting here, most businesses don't give you receipts for what you buy and they will try to start you off with a ridiculously high price to buy their goods but then you'll be able to bargain your way to be low enough to your budget!
There's a sunglasses 'optical' "high quality" shop called Tina Optical. Do not buy from the two girls, they will overprice you with their cheap sunglasses product. Our sunglasses scratched badly within a couple hours and they wouldnt refund or change for us but even still when changing it they bargained for an extra $100 yuan! Beyond ridiculous! Of course we complained! It's better to go to Silk market for sunglasses! Do not! Fall into the trap of buying sunglasses from here!! Technology items are decent priced! And the food court below is also ranked at a decent price, not much...
