No water supply, which means no shower and no drinking water unlike other beaches around. Except for Sunday it's empty though, mostly populated by local cleaners who have a tendency to be around you all the time you're here lol.

But the water is clean and it's peaceful. Just bring a bottle of water to drink and another one to splash on yourself after swimming, that unwashed salt feels really bad...

The beach it self is nice. Same is soft and beach is clean. But the water today is not great, there were some trash and some dead fishies (prob a freak nature accident). Please note that there is beach umbrella and chairs for rent , but they are super expensive! $100 for umbrella, $80 for chair. So please bring your own umbrella. The stairs leading to the main road didn't bother...

A great hideaway beach, long stairway down (and back up) but definitely worth it. Nice, newly renovated kiosk with snacks and beer available (although Stanley is around the corner, byo picnic recommended). Small playground adds to the fun for kids. Beach is patrolled with life guard and shark net. Great atmosphere, beautiful sunsets and one of Hong Kong's less well...

Like many beaches in HK (eg, Clear Water Beach), you've to walk some distance down the slope before you can reach the beach. But when you get there and see the beautiful scenery in front of you, you may say "it's worth it". Again, without contamination from rain water carrying debris and dirt during rainy season, the water is crystal clear, as seen from the video clip attached.
