Went to the hot café at Stanleywhich is famous for their baked food. @paneelattehk is new restaurants in the @piratagrouphk @piratahk , which I knew when I was there seeing the staff wearing the mask of Pirata haha. It is actually an Italian bakery serving artisan breads, pastries, cakes, pizzas, sandwiches, gelato, Italian coffee and wines~ Love the gorgeous design where many girls are taking photo at their shop front. The floor-to-ceiling windows cloaked in transparent drapes and arches, together with the terracotta floor tiles, and also the wooden furniture, striped cushion and sofa in pastel colour make me fascinated. The glass display of the baked goods and pastries makes me mouthwatering. There are too many choices of baked goods which make me really hard to pick because I want them ALL! We end up chose the following: 🍕Capricciosa It is an Italian pizza with cooked ham, semi-dry tomato, oregano, artichoke, taggiasche, olive and buffalo mozzarella. It is sandwich like that the pastries are on the top and the bottom while the ingredients are in the middle layer. Love the melty mozzarella cheese together with all the ingredients which enrich the taste! 🍫Dark chocolate bomboloni Bomboloni is an Italian donut~ The dark chocolate bombolini comes with chocolate dressing on top with chocolate flakes and brownies. Chocolate cream filled in the spongy donut. I really love this and I have bought some home as well~ 🧀Double mascarpone cheesecake There are two layers of the cheesecake – baked mascarpone and the rare cheese cake mousse. Cookie powder is pouring all over the cheesecake as the outer layer. It grasps the perfect balance of cheese and the cookies. I truly enjoy my afternoon tea there with delicious food in the relaxing café ☀️ P.S. the waiters are so sweet that they offer cold water for us when we are queuing outside!🥰

I was thrilled to try this newly opened Italian bakery by pirata group, finally got to try it on a sunny Sunday! ☀️ This beautiful pink and creamy yellow panetteria located in Stanley village right next to the sea, is like a little vacation to Amalfi Coast. The interior is absolutely stunning, and I was so tempted by their beautiful pastries counter, and the gelato counter at the basement. I arrived Stanley by around 3pm, and the queue outside pane evlatte was quite long … suggested by @annieatsalot that I should go inside to grab some take outs/gelato first and come back later.. good idea! (You can just walk in if you wanna grab takeouts only) so my hub just stay in line outside, and I walked in to buy some takeouts.. guess what.. while I was waiting in line to pay for my takeouts, my hub told me he got seat already.. it was like around 20mins I guess? (It actually takes some time to buy takeouts too, it was crowded and is difficult to decide what to buy from this extensive choices 😂) but at least u don’t have to wait under this crazy sunlight. Anyways, lucky! We ordered steak and eggs and truffle croissant from the menu, also got the lemon bomboloni, crispy roll pistachio, and coppa from the counter. Everything was pretty good, nothing seems extremely amazing, but all up to standard. Especially the truffle croissant with scramble egg, eggs were so smooth and truffle was so fragrant, yummy. And don’t forget to go downstairs to the basement to check out the gelato counter, featuring different flavours everyday, I got Tiramisu this time, perfect ending for this hot summer! Tips: try to come after 4pm to avoid the crazy queue, or just come after 6pm in evening, they open till 9pm.

Pane E Latte is the first eatery by the Pirata Group in Stanley and what a great place so far. This is a traditional panetteria that opened up last summer, offering a fair sized indoor seating area and lovely environs. You'll find pastel pink coloured walls, Italian beach holiday pictures and Tuscan floor tiles. It is a relaxing and charming place to enjoy their freshly baked breads, pastries or a cooked dish while spending time in Stanley. Opening hours are 8am to 6pm daily, making this a good option for breakfast, light lunch or afternoon coffee & cake right beside the promenade. During a recent visit, I had a double espresso that was just fine. Was very pleased with the Truffle Croissant. This was a crispy croissant with flaky layers stuffed soft scrambled eggs and topped with black truffle and shaved parmesan - just perfect! I also tried a their square shaped, pala style pizza. This was similarly vey well prepared with quality ingredients. The bread crusted very nicely, sun-dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, pesto, mozzarella with some rosemary, baked perfectly. This was a very good piece of pizza. Little room left for dessert afterwards but I did take-away orders of the Double Mascarpone Cheesecake and Pane E Latte Signature Cake, a hazelnut Dacquoise with crunchy praline outer layer and soft tonka cream and Mascarpone cream filling. Both were packaged very well in a sturdy hand carry box and much enjoyed later that evening. Preferred the double mascarpone cheesecake but both were quality desserts. Overall, very pleased with our first experience at Pane E Latte in Stanley and sincerely looking forward to returning the next time we are in the area.

Spot the unique restaurant at the corner of Stanley whilst walking on the promenade. Interior and exterior is pink Christmas themed, must visit for girly photos. Went for lunch and did not have to wait. Ordered from the festive lunch set menu. Some items on the set menu require adding an extra charge. For starters, we ordered burrata salad and soup of the day of pumpkin soup. For mains we had truffle egg croissant and roasted turkey rolata. All staff able to speak English. Ordered at 1pm and been told there is no choice for the set menu dessert as it is sold out already and we had the Black Forest Christmas log cake. Food came in irregular times for each guest, one main came just when we start having the starter, while the main for second main came after first guest finished the main. Portion size is probably a bit small for men but tastes flavourful and good quality. Spaces between tables are very narrow, can easily overhear everyone’s conversation. Being told when ask for the bill that it is cashless restaurant so not as convenient for tourist. There is also pretty pastries shown at the shelf even though did not have a chance to try it on this occasion. Overall a pleasant experience and loving the effort put in to the pink and Christmas themed decorations both inside and outside, recommend this place as a girl brunch spot.

<Walking into an European Style Cafe> Pane e Latte is a new member in Stanley under Pirata Group. A trip to Pane e Latte is like a trip to a cozy European cafe, the furniture and interior design are just so adorable. We were told that there are only two Truffle Focaccia served every day, and it’s not even on the menu. Of course we got one to try when the chef introduced this delicious looking pizza to us, and it was the best choice we made that day! The first bite was quite surprising, as it was more savory that expected, which was the magic of the sauce. It’s not the kind of savory that would make you want to drink lots of water. The parma ham and truffle were so lovely! Contrary to my expectation, they were not salty at all! The focaccia bread just made the perfect “pizza base” with a nice hint of herbs. This is the first time that we have Classic Bomboloni, an Italian style doughnut filled with cream. It’s a delightful piece of dessert filled with fresh and light vanilla cream! Absolutely lovely! The Flat White coffee was oh-so-good too! Legit Italian espresso coffee we guess? And it’s not overly milky nor foamy. A perfect drink to go with the pizza and dessert. Definitely worth a trip to Pane e Latte. And I wonder when will be my next visit.

I give 5 stars even I still not getting my soft serve…🐻❄️🐻❄️🐻❄️ We are very lucky to get the best seats by the window, took some nice photos under the nice sunlight 💖 Lobster egg Benedict, a wonderful combination. The English muffin is very light, you will have room for dessert. Hazelnut toast is heaven, the caramel 💖💖💖💖💖 🥐🥚Truffle egg croissant is good. Seasoning is on point this time. Their croissant is one of my favourite in Hong Kong. 🥩Steak and egg, mthe steak is on the raw side 😆 I asked for medium rare~ it taste good and tender though. Pancakes with berries, sweetness is just right It’s the nice fluffy pancake texture I expected 🥞 ☕️Mocha is good, because my friend likes the chocolate being more dominant. Soft serve and 2 festive pastries supposed to be my Christmas giveaway present, 🐻❄️but no soft serve again that day. pancake is on the house, and promised me to give me soft serve next time I come 🍦I don’t feel sad (maybe for 5min max), still like this place and the group anyways~
