This promenade is one mile long, I took about 15 mins to complete a stroll. It was a loading and uploading area of the recycled waste paper in the past. To acknowledge the contribution of the recycled paper industry towards environmental protection in Hong Kong, there are artworks designed as piles of recycled paper in compressed cubic blocks at the two ends of the promenade. The lighting comes from the artworks flashes and changes at night starting at about 5:45pm, interacting with the mists of water droplets emitted from the ground and one cubic block. The light bulbs on the ground with light flashes in different colours makes the mists of water droplets look like flame, the picture is beautiful and magical. There is a Sensory Garden for children but it is not perfunctory. Part of the promenade is under Kwun Tong Bypass, the space under Kwun Tong Bypass used for children's playground, exhibition, artist studios in the form of containers, restaurants, toilets, etc. The pillars of the bypass were painted pictures of old buildings and industries in Kwun Tong district. It is a artistic place where makes good use of the vacant land.

If you only see a signage of the Park in the dense-in-human-and-vehicle-traffic area of Kwun Tong, you should know that you are still far away from it. You can simply follow your seaward instinct to arrive at a section of the Park in about 15-20 minutes of brisk walking. What remains to be done is to enjoy the horizon and to have a taste of life on your own, as the Park's sensory garden has Sound, Sight, Smell & Touch, but no Taste! Postscript 1 On Feb 16, 2019, my extended family had a new year dinner gathering in a restaurant nearby. Having eaten, I suggested our coming here for a walk as I believed it should be a better experience. I thought they also enjoyed the walk, and I took a few nice night photos! Postscript 2 On Oct 7, 2022, I bumped into the fringe of the Park and discovered that it had become pet-friendly. My wife and I took our pet the next night. We believed our pet enjoyed the walk despite the grass and fountain areas were still restricted.

The park is well-maintained and the environment is clean, making it a pleasant experience for everyone. It's a popular spot for dog owners, so it can get a bit crowded during the weekends. However, despite the crowds, the park still manages to maintain a peaceful atmosphere. One of the highlights of the park is the space it offers for picnicking. Many people come to the park to enjoy a relaxing day with their family and friends, and the park offers ample space for picnicking. You can bring your own food and drinks, and enjoy a lovely day out in nature. Overall, this park in Kwun Tong is a great option for dog owners and anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing day out. The clean environment, ample space for picnicking, and the chance to get some fresh air and exercise with your furry friend make it a must-visit spot. It's important to remember that while the park is a great place to bring your dog, it's essential to keep them on a leash at all times.

A very long stretch of walkway extending from Ngau Tau Kok down to Kwun Tong. It overlooks the Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and the Victoria Harbour, giving it a nice view. If the weather is nice, the place has several green lawns for picnic, though trees are relatively sparse. But the amount of seating surfaces do make up for it. There are also event spaces and play equipment (for elderly and children). There are also a handful of cafés along the way. If you're intending to walk the full stretch, it's a good 30 minutes slow walk (15 minutes if you're walking briskly and quick) and away from the hustle and bustle (and importantly the vehicle traffic). Lately, there are a lot of people taking their wedding photos by the waterside. I suggest begin your walk from the Ngau Tau Kok side and head towards Kwun Tong for convenience sake. You can then opt to take the ferry towards North Point or head into Kwun Tong for a bit of shopping.

Kwun Tong Waterfront Park is located under the Kwun Tong Bypass Flyover. It has a variety of recreational facilities, including a 1,000-meter-long waterfront promenade, distinctive tower landmarks, children’s playgrounds, fitness stations, viewing pavilions, and sensory gardens. Kwun Tong Seaside Park is just a few hundred meters away from Exit B of Kwun Tong MTR Station. It is very convenient to get there. It is also a popular check-in spot and a dating spot for Hong Kong couples. The simulated crane tower and the waste paper bundle art installation with the design concept from the waste paper recycling industry can evoke the citizens' memories of the old loading and unloading areas. You can also walk or run on the promenade. You can admire the new landmarks of East Kowloon ─ ─ Kai Tak Cruise Terminal and Runway Park, and the bright night view of the east of Hong Kong Island, and the scenery of Victoria Harbour and Lei Yue Mun. In 2021, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department are cooperate with the establishment, costing nearly 50 million, and set up a musical fountain, three interactive water play areas and a recreational grassland. The music fountain is regularly controlled by a computer program and sprays water jets in accordance with the melody of famous songs. One of the tracks is performed by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, and the evening performance is added with lighting changes; three interactive splashing areas are equipped with sensing devices that will spew out when someone is approaching with different shapes of water columns, adults and children can play in the water.
