Impressed by how well-organized everything was. The process of boarding the cable car was quick and efficient, allowing us to start our scenic journey without any delays. As we ascended into the sky, we were treated to breathtaking views of the iconic bridge ta Macau, the bustling airport, and the majestic hills surrounding us. The panoramic vistas were simply awe-inspiring and provided a unique perspective of Hong Kong's diversel landscape. Throughout our experience, the staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that we felt welcome and comfortable every step of the way. Their friendly demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our visit and left a lasting impression Overall, the Hong Kong Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car experience surpassed our expectations It's the perfect way to soak in the beauty of Hong Kong from a bird's-eye view while enjoying seamless organization and exceptional service. Whether you're a local resident or a visitor to the city, I highly recommend adding this attraction to your itinerarv for an unforaettable experience

One of the unique experiences to have in Hongkong, this place can be reached via cable car, hiking, or via taxi/car. The cable car ride provides a scenic view of the surrounding landscapes. We went there in June, and the fog was rather thick so we only got occasional glimpses of the scenery; a foggy trip is a different experience by itself :) On the way to the Big Buddha (which is situated at the top of the mountain), you'll be passing thru some restaurants near the cable car landing, then statues of the twelve divine generals, and finally the base of the stairs leading up to the temple. The scenery up top is beautiful, big bronze statues line the paths, and the surrounding trees and vegetation provides a good backdrop for panoramic shots. Aside from the temple, there are also hiking trails that you can follow if you wish to stroll around the mountain. On hindsight, we were lucky during our visit as there were brief periods when the fog cleared that gave us chances to take good photos of the place.

Visiting the Ngong Ping Big Buddha on Lantau Island was one of the highlights of my trip to Hong Kong! The journey itself was an adventure, taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable car over lush mountains with stunning views of the sea and island below. Once you arrive, the serene atmosphere immediately sets in. The Tian Tan Buddha, standing 34 meters tall, is truly awe-inspiring. Climbing the 268 steps to reach the base of the statue is well worth the effort—you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The peaceful aura of the place makes it feel like a spiritual escape from the busy city life of Hong Kong. Don’t miss the nearby Po Lin Monastery, which offers a glimpse into local religious traditions, and take a walk through Ngong Ping Village for some charming shops and cafes. This place is not just a tourist attraction, but a place of peace and reflection. A must-see for anyone visiting Hong Kong!

One of the hidden gems of Hong Kong. Yes, it takes a while to get here from the rest of the Hong Kong (located on Lantau Island), but it is well worth the visit. One recommendation is to plan a trip here right before or right after landing at the local airport (on the same island as the Big Buddha). There is a luggage storage service in the airport so you can just bring your day bag with you from the airport to Big Buddha. The price of admission depends on whether you want to walk up or take the wooden or steel glass trolley up. I recommend taking the trolley. The views from up top are beautiful and you can witness local Buddhists praying on their way up to the statue. The statue is large and leaves you speechless at its beauty.

These are one of the big tourist attractions in Hong Kong, often known for its miracle origin: Once HK was riddled with storms and natural catastrophe years after years, until a Buddhist monk was coming up with making this statue, with Buddha's back is against the storm direction. Since this Hong Kong is safe from any big tropical typhoon. Besides, the rest is just decorated as a mainstream attraction for both Buddhists practitioners and normal people alike. The vegan desserts were really on point, the the giant status is magnificient in-person. The air up there is pretty nice and worth the hike too. The crystal cable is so great to experience, maybe not so for who's afraid of height. 9/10

Visiting Ngong Ping Big Buddha in Hong Kong was an unforgettable experience, even though the cable car was out of service and the day was cloudy. We took a taxi to reach the site, which was an adventure in itself. The statue is massive and awe-inspiring, surrounded by breathtaking views that still managed to impress despite the weather. The peaceful atmosphere at the site is perfect for reflection and offers a unique sense of tranquility. The journey there, although different than expected, added to the overall experience. It's a must-see for anyone traveling to Hong Kong, offering a memorable blend of adventure and serenity.
