Are you craving for some delicious Mediterranean food in Hong Kong? 👀Come check this out! I have got the best place for you! Pomegranate Kitchen serves Mediterranean cuisine with a modern twist to it! 😯Their interior was so nice and I liked that they have big windows, allowing the sunlight to shine in. 🌞They also do catering and host private events as they have a pretty outdoor patio and a big indoor space. 🤪They currently serve a lunch set menu that includes starter, main and/or a dessert (drinks require additional fee). I really love that they have many options that are vegetarian or vegan! 😎Definitely come and try their:
🥗Shredded Beetroot🥗 Out of all the starters, this is definitely the one that sparked my eyes when I went over the ingredients list. 😆It has green apples, spinach, freekeh topped with some pistachios and feta cheese. 🤤The salad was perfectly mixed, definitely opened up my appetite! 👅The apple added a spark of freshness to the salad and as a big cheese lover, I totally loved the feta cheese in it! I wished there were more green apples hehe~😆
🥣Soup of the day 🥣 Their soup of the day was eggplant soup topped with vanilla. 😆It was so rich and I totally loved it, I think they have different soup everyday so definitely ask them what their soup of the day is!😄
🤎Herbed Mediterranean Meatballs (Vegetarian)🤎 The meatballs were so soft and was served with chilli and sea salt labeh. A side of pita bread and a Greek salad was served alongside the meatballs. 😊I loved to take a bite of the meatball and then a bite of the Greek salad as the freshness in the Greek salad balances out the savoury taste of the meatballs. I keep going for more! 💗The meatballs could be made by either ground beef or impossible minced depending on your preference! 👍
🍝Slow Cooked Shredded Beef Raghu Fettuccine 🍝 This is definitely my favourite and you should definitely order this! I totally loved the texture of fettuccine, it was perfectly cooked, it was more on the chewy side and I was in love with it! 🥰The tomato sauce was balanced between the sour and savoury tastes. 😄Topped with slow cooked beef Raghu and some cheese, it was like heaven! When ordering a lunch set, this requires some additional fee but I can ensure you that this is definitely a must try!😊
🤪Dips to Share!!! 🤪 The dips were Babaganoush, Humus and Pistachio all topped with nice olive oil. 😊They serve the dip with some freshly baked bread, oh my, I gotta tell you that it was so delicious! 😆My personal favourite is definitely the pistachio! 🥰If you are a big fan of pistachio, this is definitely your go-to! 👀It tasted the freshest out of the three dips and was rich in pistachio flavour! Make sure to spoon out some olive oil along with the dip for the yummiest bite! 💗
I totally loved the interior of the restaurant! Not only it was very clean, it is very spacious and have big windows to have some sunlight shining in. 🌞This is perfect to enjoy a nice lunch, vibing to some music with friends! 😄Thank you for the awesome hospitality and all the yummy food! Totally fell in...
Read moreI have hosted my wedding reception on this Venue and while the food is absolutely awesome, I do have couple unpleasant encounters to the following that I think the Venue can work on:
While we have already made arrangement on the venue’s set up, such as number of chairs, wall decoration and food setting arrangement, they have change the agreed set up without any previous notification, and we end up had to make do on that day which caused some hectic moments. Some of the Temporary Waiter Staff are quite inexperience that they didn’t even know the types of drinks they have in the kitchen. As I have previously ordered both Wine & Prosecco, and some staff were totally not aware that there were Prosecco available just because it’s not stored in the same cabinet as the wine, plus they didn’t even bother asking the event manager and just said no to the guests. Originally it was agreed that all food including appetizer and soup can be served as a buffet style, only to find out that they have changed the set up to serve the appetizer and soup individually to each guests without telling us and it has caused the event to almost be overran. During prior visit to the Venue, we noticed a huge pile of random trash that’s lying right outside of the venue’s entrance and we were promised that they will be handled with before our event. Only it was not and all the guests had to walk pass this pile of trash before they can enter The setup of the decoration theme we have chosen for the tables were delayed for an hour or so after our event has started They have washed the outdoor stage too close to our event’s kick off time and the floor is still wet during our ceremony causing some water stain to the bride’s dress This one is not on Pomegranate Kitchen but during the event, there were some people across the building from some random office that has been seen filming us. We got so worried that we might be reported and fined from the gathering restriction throughout the entire event that it has costed distain to the supposed joyful memory. We were entitled for a small refund of couple K HKD for the extra booze we have ordered and the refund has taken slightly more than 1 month to be completed.
Overall, I would think that this place is probably better for a smaller event size such as 80 ish people so that it won’t feel too crowded ( even they say the indoor can fit for 40 and out door is 110 people). Additionally, there are definitely rooms for improvement on the communication and delivery. I was just lucky that our event could go without a hitch but the same thing honestly can’t be guaranteed for everyone. I would rate it 2.5 stars combined on both the food and...

First of all, the lady in charge misplaced some decorations which I brought in the week before. When confronted about it, she just took off without an apology and after the event sent me CCTV images of my prior visit trying to prove that they never received it. Obviously the CCTV images showed me carrying a big brown box with the decorations so I wasn't sure what they were attempting to prove. Not to mention how it violated my privacy using the CCTV like that.
When we got there half an hour before the event was supposed to start, the setup was not even halfway done (even though they said they would get everything set up hence why I brought the stuff over a week in advance) and this lady again said my event was supposed to start at 8pm - an hour after the actual time as listed in all our email correspondence. She disappeared for the rest of the evening while me and the rest of the guests who had arrived by then had to finish the setup frantically ourselves. Not the service expected when we paid an extra $4000 hkd for the "styling service".
The food was fine, but the portions were small and they forgot to serve the mint tea which was part of the menu we agreed on. Police also came knocking on our doors to turn down the music at 10:15pm even though we were in an industrial area and we were told that we only have to turn down the music at 11pm.
However, the worst part was how the management handled the aftermath. When I complained the next day via email, the person in charge gave me a brief reply and after promising to "revert back" a day later, never wrote back. We received two emails from other staff over the next two months asking for the remaining balance to be paid without addressing the lost decorations and bad service. One of the emails even erroneously asked for an extra $10000 hkd to be paid because the accountant didn't check how much deposit we have already paid. When we called back, all the phone numbers go straight to voicemail.
Overall, nice venue marred by terrible management and definitely would advise my friends to go for other private kitchens for...
