I got through one of the last quarantines here in the hotel. The hotel gave me the opportunity to be here at very short notice. The Treasure Hotel sent me a cancellation the day before departure and the Regency Art hotel helped me at the last second. I even got a room with a view of Macau. The room was tidy, maybe a bit worn. But 3 years of quarantine does not pass without a trace, especially since Macau provided very few hotels. The bathtub had its flaws, which were poorly repaired. There were long, black hairs everywhere in the room... This shows that the intervals for changing rooms are quite short. The supply of drinking water was poor. There were 2x500ml available. Another 2 small bottles came after ordering. Normally I should drink 2-3 liters of water a day... The food was okay, I only let the breakfast porridge go back. Portions were good for diet so small. But you can order it online. WIFI was good reception, also fast enough. The staff in the hallway was quite friendly and helpful. Overall a pleasant stay. In normal times, this hotel is certainly a recommendable hotel, where you can enjoy the amenities of the hotel in addition to the location. The water flow was also mega, with instant hot water (circulation). TV program was a bit more for the...
Read moreFirst thing walked in to front desk for check in. There’s this china receptionist he sounds rude and actions as well otherwise he answers whatever you are asking and there another i believe filipino receptionist great service! Then to the rooms booked 2 room for 4 person. There this smell some say is musty i think is alright, the toilet though was a bit hard to learn to use their tap for sink and shower ( got to pull and turn to adjust water flow and temperature). Personally im not a fan of this room light colour but with a familiar person it wasn’t that scary 😊 I would say the room is clean but u may find some dust somewhere but it was overall stay-able i say Location wise is pretty good, tho they don’t have shuttle bus but there are bus stop near by in hotel they show the bus number nearby and in the room there is a qr code to give simple tourist guide and i mean macau is small so traveling my taxi is convenient and cheap, the hotel is able to help us book a taxi !
Lastly! I’ve asked after checked out we still can leave out luggage here at reception counter and come back to collect even after so i say not to worry too much like i have after seeing...
Read moreThis hotel is appalling! We arrived with a car only to discover that the hotel charges USD1.3 to park per hour and USD13 to park overnight! There is no warning about this on their official website or any agent website. Free parking in the surrounding area is non-existent therefore you are basically forced to pay the parking fee if you have a car. If you are as unfortunate as us who non-refundably booked this hotel for 7 nights, you are spending an extra night just on parking! When I complained this to the receptionist, he blamed me for not calling the hotel up to check before booking. I mean this is the ONLY hotel in Macau that charges customers for parking and I have stayed in lot of hotels in Macau! Who would have thought a hotel would charge customers for parking!? The receptionist went on to suggest me to complain to the regulator and told me that the hotel was owned by some rich and powerful person. I mean what society he was trying to portrait Macau to be?
Apart from costly parking, the hotel also sprays strong air freshener everywhere. People who have allergies should watch out as I can't breath properly while I am writing this in the...
