All times fav park 😌with a lot of activities to do Chinguacousy Park, is the heart of Brampton. It is a nice park which that exemplifies natural beauty and recreational excellence. Spanning over 200 acres, the park features a diverse landscape that includes lush gardens, expansive lawns, and tranquil water features, creating a picturesque setting for relaxation and outdoor activities. It has golf, train ride fountains, farm animals, rides for children and too much to explore. And nice view from the top of the hill. One of the park’s standout attractions is its beautifully maintained botanical gardens. The vibrant floral displays, seasonal plantings, and well-designed garden beds offer a feast for the eyes and a peaceful retreat for visitors. The park's numerous walking trails meander through its natural beauty, providing scenic routes for leisurely strolls and invigorating runs. Families and children will find much to enjoy with the park’s expansive playgrounds, splash pads, and picnic areas. The serene pond and fountain offer a calming backdrop, enhancing the park’s appeal as a place for reflection and leisure. Additionally, the park hosts various community events and activities throughout the year, contributing to its lively atmosphere and strong community engagement. Overall, Chinguacousy Park combines natural beauty with recreational amenities, making it a cherished destination for both relaxation and enjoyment in Brampton.

Such a great park, no wonder it's so busy! There's so many activities when you get there, they practically could charge for admission just for entering! Obviously the only con is that there's is NOT enough parking for the volumes of crowds! Very very limited. Otherwise, lots of family fun to be had here whether looking for free activities or paid. Tons of green space with benches, trees for shade etc. where groups can set up parties, picnics or bbqing. The playgrounds are awesome. There are 3 for all different age ranges! The one for "big kids" has such cool climbing fun and big slides! Love that the playground is the soft ground material and not dirt/sand/rocks which gets so messy. A small, basic waterpark also. There's a free animal farm but it's a little cramped and a little smelly - for free, it's a nice bonus. You can also walk around outside to see ponies and donkeys. For paid activities: there's a 5 minute train ride for $4pp or $20 for 6. Petting zoo is super cute, $2pp with friendly goats and sheep. There's an icecream truck, snack bar, pony rides and carousel.

I visited here last weekend with my daughters and their mother. We all had an amazing time. There is so much to do! A really nice park for the kids to play on, a small park for the little ones and a zipline! A fairly good sized splash pad for when it gets hot out and you want to cool down. You can go paddle boating on the pond for $10 for half an hour or play some mini golf for $2 a person! There's a wading pool as well and a greenhouse to look at some plants. There is also small petting zoo and pony rides as well and a Mary Go Round but the tickets are a little too expensive... $40 for 8 tickets. Not worth the 2 minute ride. You can also visit here in the winter to go skating and tubing down the massive hill on the property as well! They do sell food at a very reasonable price if you get hungry! Overall this place is amazing for friends and families to visit for a couple of hours or for a day for a picnic and just to get together and make some memories!

The park is huge. It has a variety of free as well as paid activities. Free activities: There is a small splash pad and a big one too. There is a big kids play area with slides, swings and other structures. There is a small petting zoo. There are a lot of picnic tables out in the open and in tree shades. Paid activities: There is a carousel for kids, train ride that takes kids and parents through the park’s roads, small pond with paddle boating for 2-4 people and a pony ride. You could reserve a covered shelter area for parties. Parking: It has many entrances and multiple parking lots. Still, on a good summer day, the lots tend to fill up by afternoon. Caution: DO NOT park on the grass or on no parking areas. Parking enforcement is always doing rounds and giving tickets. Tip for parking: If the lots are full, just go to one lot and keep waiting until someone leaves. You should get a spot within 5-15 mins.

I've lived in the GTA for the majority of my life and Ching parks always been a great spot to just hang out and enjoy nature. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it looks like they have made some upgrades to the park area. My grandkids loved it. They still have the old park area but I think it works because there was a lot of kids and parents! The train ride was fun and the conductor and assistant were very friendly. The person selling the tickets was also friendly except for the lady at the carousel. It didn't look like she was good with kids. My grandson tried opening the gate and she snapped at him. The pony rides were not available on that day but that's ok, they need a break! The splashpad may need an upgrade or needs to be expanded perhaps? I found most kids at the park versus the splashpad. Overall I'd take the grandkids back again because they loved it so much.
