Review in 🇺🇸🇨🇴. 🇺🇸This place is undoubtedly one of the best saunas in Bogotá and is well worth a visit! The staff is warm and friendly, and some of them speak basic English, making it easy for foreign visitors to communicate. From Monday to Friday, there are different themed events each day, while weekends are the liveliest, attracting the highest number of visitors.
This venue is more than just a sauna—it also features a bar and a unique museum. My personal favorite is the museum, which showcases historical figures and events from different eras, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past and the evolution of society.
The sauna is well-equipped and provides a comfortable environment. While the establishment offers slippers, I recommend bringing your own slippers and a towel for a better experience. Additionally, be sure to bring a clean pair of underwear to change into when leaving, as most guests wear underwear while enjoying the hot baths. It’s also a good idea to bring your own lubricant and condoms to enhance your experience.
The building has three floors. The basement is the most vibrant area, featuring exciting performances every night (check with the establishment for exact times). If you’re a foreign visitor, it’s a great idea to bring plenty of one-dollar bills for tipping the performers—their shows are definitely worth it! Sunday afternoons are the ideal time to visit, as the place is lively but not overly crowded.
Many locals arrive by motorcycle, and Complice provides motorcycle parking right at the entrance. However, car parking spots are limited, so if you’re driving, it’s best to arrive early to secure a spot.
Additionally, the basement includes a darkroom and a steam room, where many enjoyable experiences take place. One notable perk is that members receive exclusive discounts during certain times. If you enjoy this venue, consider becoming a member to take advantage of these special benefits!
Read moreI really admire the advocacy work that is being done by Complices for the LGBTQIA+ community. All the staff is welcoming and friendly. I was able to get a tour of the museum with Luis, who was so knowledgeable about LGBTQIA+ history in Colombia and so passionate about advocating for the community. Each exhibit was thoughtfully curated, and I learned so much during my tour. I also got a chance to talk to the owner about the museum. I am so glad there are spaces like this to showcase the history and pride we have as a community in Colombia and really recommend it for anyone visiting Bogota!
In addition to the museum, the sauna was excellent with great atmosphere and decor. They provide slippers and the space was really big. The locals who live in Bogota tell me that this is the best sauna in the city, and I can definitely see why!
Thank you for creating and taking care of this space, and I hope to...
Read moreAfter reading several reviews about this place, I decided to give a shot. The staff are mostly nice and friendly. I got a massage, which wasn't too bad. The massage therapist (David) was friendly and respectful. As far as the place goes, it is clean, but the place had no hot water, and no shower soap. I don't think management knows what a shower with hot water is or don't have the budget for it. Furthermore, none of the showers had shower soap. To be fair, when you check in, they give you a ration of liquid soap. I thought that was very third world or communist country like. Finally, after 7:30 pm, there is no wifi access. I needed to call an Uber, but no wifi. That evening was raining and I got wet getting a taxi on the street. I Definitely, do not recommend this place. Medellin was above in beyond...
