HOTEL — Hotel in Bogota, Capital District

A Colombian friend set me up here for 3 nights on a quick trip for my first time off shore since the pandemic began.||It was a great bargain at about $20 a night! The transmelinio is only 2 blocks away and the best part is the restaurant adjacent to the hotel. OMG such good food at amazing low prices!! They specialize in Caldo soups with beef or pork or my favorite fish. They also have excellent lunches that cost about $8 for 2 people drinks included plus the soup! The hotel was quick to respond to room shortages and repairs and the front desk staff Juliette and Liz secured my valuables every night and retrieved them with a smile regardless of my poor Spanish. This is the kind of trips I'll be recommending to my travel friends when I get home! Also, the airport covid testing site was a breeze to use (Synlab) and again there employees were excellent....

I have stayed at this Hotel in May 2014 and September 2015. In both occasions I have been treated in a personal way by the Reception Staff. They make sure , they resolve my personal concerns related to my stay. Rooms are basic , but spacious.There is free Coffee and Internet, and they can include breakfast at the hotel restaurant if you want , but the hotel is situated in a privileged location with many restaurants to choose from. Great place it's well maintained they are able to accommodate special requests and the place just all around great. Great location, there's actually a restaurant directly below the property, there's a hospital right by, I actually had a medical condition so that for me was incredible.
