Parque Nacional — Attraction in Bogota, Capital District

The main park in the city, a landmark, not as big as others but central and full of natural beauty. If you like MTB, trekking or just walking, it's a must. Also, you can just relax in the park, get a juice or fruit, an empanada and take advantage of the many activities that are usually organized around it. There is normally police (Mounted police since there is a police stable up the mountain) during the day; however, I would not recommend wondering deep in the park at night... Keep to the lower part...

Ese día vimos el parque desde la ventana. Aunque llovía, el Parque Nacional de Bogotá se veía hermoso. La lluvia parecía hacer que la naturaleza cobrara vida, y los colores del parque se veían aún más vibrantes. Recuerdo la sensación de tranquilidad y paz que me invadió al contemplar ese hermoso paisaje.

La lluvia caía suavemente sobre las hojas de los árboles, creando un sonido relajante que me hacía sentir en armonía con la naturaleza. El parque se veía vacío, pero de alguna manera, eso lo hacía aún más hermoso. La soledad y la quietud del lugar me permitían apreciar su belleza de manera más profunda.

Fue un momento inolvidable, uno que siempre recordaré con cariño. El Parque Nacional de Bogotá es un lugar verdaderamente especial, y ese día, bajo la lluvia, se convirtió en un recuerdo que siempre llevaré conmigo. La belleza de la naturaleza es algo que siempre me dejará...

The place is full of homeless people who are living there apparently. I was absolutely shocked by what is happening. Small children living there in no conditions whatsoever. They are making fire with wood in the middle of the city and the government isn’t doing anything to help...
