Breath taking views over the city of Bogota! I had only 8 hours to visit el Cerro de Montserrat and the city centre. We took a taxi from the airport straight to El Cerro where we bought our tickets. That day, was only the Furnicular available, to go up to the Mirador de Montserrat. It costed 4 euros approximately. It was a 4 minutes ride to the top. The view from the top is incredible, you can see the beautiful city of Bogotá. You can take beautiful pictures of the city of Bogota and the mountains. You can have a walk to the souvenirs market where you can buy gifts for your beloved ones. There are some restaurants where you can eat or have something to drink. I bought some good coffee from that market and as well some souvenirs at a good fair price. We thought that it was going to be expensive but it was not. And there are toilets available as well. The place was very clean, organized and the staff professional and very helpful. On taking the Furnicular on way back, we had to wait 30 min aprox on the queue. Nice place which I recommend to visit if you...

Amazing view of the city - can't miss this! The church at the top is nothing to write home about visually, but I'm sure it has tons of history. The restaurants at the back (behind the church) don't look great either, so eat there at your own risk. There is a small take out café where you can get good snacks and coffee though. But the view totally makes makes up for everything. Recommend going there...
