Restaurante Casa Santa Clara offers a unique dining experience with a beautifully decorated interior that is full of character. From the moment you step inside, you can feel the history and charm of the place. The warm lighting, rustic wooden details, and vintage décor create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.

The service is another highlight of the restaurant. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, ensuring that you feel comfortable throughout your visit. They are happy to offer recommendations and always serve with a smile, which adds to the overall positive experience.

When it comes to the food, the portion sizes are quite generous, which is great for those with a big appetite. However, while the dishes were good, they didn’t quite impress in terms of flavor. The food was enjoyable, but it lacked the extra depth or uniqueness that would make it truly memorable. That said, it’s still a nice place to enjoy a hearty meal.

One of the main attractions of this restaurant is its location and view. While the view of the city is slightly obstructed, it remains beautiful and offers a lovely backdrop for dining. Whether you’re visiting during the day or in the evening, the scenery adds to the experience.

Overall, Restaurante Casa Santa Clara is a charming spot with friendly service and a beautiful setting. While the food may not be the most outstanding, the atmosphere and hospitality make it a...

I have visited Casa Santa Clara restaurant for to anniversary with my husband last year. ¡That was a really good decision!. This place has the best view in Bogotá and is perfect for special occasions because it is a really beautiful place with very nice romantic ambiance.

The restaurant is located in Monserrate, so we first went to the funicular station and after 5 minutes we arrived at the restaurant.

This restaurant offers typical food with a variety of preparations that reflect the diversity of Colombia.

This day we got a table by one of the windows from which we had a fantastic view. Customer service was excellent, the staff in general were really polite and helpful, the waiter was attentive and kind.

We ordered empanadas for starters, as main course my husband ate Trucha de Tota and me Posta Negra Cartagenera, the food was of excellent quality. Also tried the Sangria and it is one of the best I have tasted.

You must visit this restaurant not only for its excellent food but also to enjoy this beautiful old house, build in 1924. I recommend anyone who travels to Bogota to go to Restaurant Santa Clara, we had a great experience and definitely...

What to say about Restaurante Casa Santa Clara?

It is an amazing combination of gourmet-style Colombian food. Here you can try typical food with a great spin and presentation that makes emphasis on the variety and goodness of flavors of a good sample of Colombian dishes.

They have natural juices! You have to try the blackerry one. The arepa with cheese is good. The seasoning of the stewed chicken was great! The guacamole sauce along with the colombian potatoes is an explosion of simple, yet delicious, flavor. The Colon beer is nicely packed with a robust flavor, even for the pale ale, that's not easily forgotten. I definitely recommend it. The goat cheese cake on a guava puree is fabulous. And the guacamole and chicken salad was the winner for us. How can something so simple taste so natural and good?

You have to visit and eat here when in Monserrate! The views are great too. The service is nice, and please take time to read the menu, and do try and translate them with Google Translate if you don't know how to speak/read Spanish. It will...

The place was a discovery. Monserrate Is one the most magical places in Bogotá. You can observe the vastness of the city and enjoy typical food admiring the unique landscapes around the "Mirador de Monserrate". There, a wooden white house, lies undisturbed on the edge of the ravine. The house history is incredible: It was built and dismantled three times, before finding her final resting place, in Bogotá. The house is home of a cosy and exquisite restaurant, that together with incredible cooking talent of her chef, created an unforgettable place, where to find high quality food and an unforgettable view. I was really glad I turned my head and I saw the place; I was also surprised by the quality ( and the price - which was very balanced ). It was one of my best experiences in life, ever. The fish was incredible, I suggest you to try that. Thank you "Santa Clara", for making my day in Monserrate unique.
