Lovely place where you can get an incredible cultural experience, the house of Fernando González preserved in pristine condition, gives you an idea of his life and legacy, such a gorgeous little place surrounded by trees and art. Right next to it the event theatre and the library offer a very modern and cosy space to enjoy cultural events for the community at a very low cost. And finally, the restaurant, the perfect place to enjoy scrumptious food and a great atmosphere in the centre of Envigado.

This is such a beautiful place! The garden is shaded by large trees with a small fountain in the center. The colonial style house has dark-stained wooden bars over the open windows, colorful stained glass windows, and many other details. I didn't know anything about Fernando Gonzalez, but they happily gave me a pamphlet and a book mark... great to learn about Colombian culture in a beautiful place.

Beautiful place with a lot of history in the center of the city. So beautiful to see that it is so well kept. We were greeted by a gentleman so kind and nice, he explained a lot of the history behind the museum, the books, and Medellin. Even help us recommending us places to go around the city, that we must visit.

It's a very small house with a pretty garden and backyard. It's free and only takes about ten minutes to walk around. They have a lot of cultural events like cinema, talks, yoga etc. during the week and weekend - most of them free as well. There is a café in the backyard, but I have not tried it.

I grew up in envigado and I am so happy to see this beautiful place still standing. Food is amazing and the space is very peaceful. I recommend the "desayuno" the traditional breakfast. Get the empanadas de papa. And if you ho in the afternoon please get the Rose Sangria.

Museo del mejor escritor de envigado, criticado por ser rebelde y ateo, fue censurado por la sociedad conservadora y mojigata ,con su cuaderno anotaba todo lo que veía mientras pasaba recorriendo todo envigado por lo que lo llamaban loco , su pensamiento es el que todavía se necesita para mantener una democrocia incluyente, se conservo su casa donde vivió y murió , ahora con bonitos jardines con bromelias y orquídeas, es una casa de época que se conserva como era, por dentro es sencilla sin decoración porque no necesitaba más, resalta el comedor restaurado de antiguo expresidente y álbumes familiares en las paredes, al lado un moderno auditorio y el café otra parte donde ofrecen ricos cafés y cocteles con sándwiches gratinados.
