We went on a sloth walk around Tulemar with Sara and it was incredibly educational. We saw several sloths, along with agoutis, bats, and iguanas. We learned a lot about the great rehabilitation work that the institute does, as well as the dark side of selfie tourism. Sloths are lucky to have humans like Sara on their side. Highly recommend doing this tour or making a donation.

They offer a chance to see animals in care. (Behind glass) They have the true Tica mentality where there is no reason to what they think they can charge. In this case $60 per person for a tour of an hour. Don't understand me wrong I support local wildlife but no way they need $60 per person when the animals are already in their natural habitat. Pura robo!
