Highly recommended Indian restaurant in Manuel Antonio. After few days of having Costa Rican food I was craving something different and decided to try Indian (one of my favourite cuisines).

The atmosphere is very good, located in a nice spot with ocean views and in the middle of the jungle. Service is very good, waiters are friendly and explain everything in the menu in detail. They offered us a free snack as appetizer, it was good and came with three sauces, one sweet, one spicy and one mild.

We ordered saag panner, yellow dal tadka, basmati rice and chef’s choice bread basket. The waiting time for the food was a bit long - however they offered us more quantity of the free snack in return which made the wait sweeter. I loved the food, each dish was perfectly seasoned, the paneer was really tasty and combined perfectly with the garlic naan. We could not finish all the food so we asked for take away, they did not charge extra for the containers which is a nice gesture.

The atmosphere was magic, with views to the jungle it started to rain and we could even see a couple of parrots. However, few mosquitoes bite me so I would recommend using repellent!

To finish this wonderful experience, they offered us a free desert, homemade ice cream, really good 🙌🏼

I would recommend this place to anybody looking for Indian food as prices are very reasonable if we compare with other restaurants in the zone and quality/quantity of each...

We had dinner at this Indian restaurant tonight — and what can I say? It was simply a dream. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by the warm, aromatic scent of Indian spices and an atmosphere that feels authentic, cozy, and inviting all at once. The service was attentive, friendly, and helpful right from the start, without ever being intrusive.

The menu is truly a paradise for everyone: whether you’re a meat lover, vegan, or vegetarian — there is something here for everyone to enjoy. In fact, this place is a wonderland for vegetarians. The variety of vegetarian curries, dals, and tandoori dishes is impressive, and each one is full of fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced spices, and an incredible depth of flavor.

We make it a point to eat Indian food in almost every country we visit — and we can honestly say: this was one of, if not the best Indian restaurant we’ve ever been to. Every dish was perfectly cooked, from the seasoning to the texture, and everything was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.

The portions were generous and satisfying without compromising on quality. The value for money is excellent, and the entire experience left us wishing we could come back again and again.

In short: if you love Indian food — or even if you’ve never tried it — do yourself a favor and come here. It’s a little piece of paradise on earth, and vegetarians, in particular, will feel like they’ve stepped straight into a...

This restaurant offers a exceptional Indian dining experience that easily ranks among the best I've had.

The warmth of the service was immediately apparent, thanks in no small part to Alam, who was absolutely great.

Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality truly enhanced the entire meal.

But let's talk about the star of the show: the food. Every dish was a vibrant explosion of authentic Indian flavors. The Chicken Tikka was simply divine – tender, succulent pieces of chicken marinated to perfection and bursting with smoky, aromatic spices. It was the kind of dish you savor with every bite.

Next, the Lamb Saag was a revelation. The lamb was incredibly tender, melting in my mouth, and the creamy spinach sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. It's a classic done exceptionally well.

Finally, the Chicken Karahi was another standout. The robust and slightly spicy gravy, packed with fresh tomatoes, onions, and peppers, enveloped the tender chicken beautifully.

Each dish was distinct, showcasing the diverse and complex flavors that make Indian cuisine so captivating.

If you're looking for an Indian restaurant that delivers on both outstanding food and excellent service, look no further than Namaste.

Make sure to say hello to Alam – you won't be disappointed! I can't wait to return and explore more of their...

Wasn't expecting Indian food in Costa Rica, let alone this authentic. This place in Manuel Antonio is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants serving delicious north indian food outside India. The owner is courteous and loves what he does, great to talk to, the place is new but already running super busy. The seating is at the back of the hotel and quite green, gets a little hot due to the weather and the tandoor setup but they provide fans if needed. We caught a lot of monkeys' activities on the surrounding trees. Coming to the food, we ordered paneer tikka masala, tandoori roti, garlic naan, dal tadka and jeera rice for lunch - all cooked to perfection - the paneer is very soft and fresh, roti and naan are thin, just how we like it. Would highly recommend all these items. We also ordered gulab jamun which was not up to my expectation, didn't get the texture & flavors right and the mawa tasted sour. But the owner took the positive feedback and promised to get it to taste better. We came back the other day, had ginger tea with the owner and then ordered some tandoori items - angara paneer tikka and chicken lehsuni malai tikka - highly recommend the lehsuni chicken. Do visit them when in Manuel Antonio and wishing the restaurant more popularity and consistency.
