The beach is not really big and can be crowded but its a sand beach and close to the city and firule. To go swimming there are two options. You can walk into the water from the sand beach, then you dont need swimming shoes but the water is not very deep. Or you can use a ladder/ stairway from the beton plates on the side. But then I would recommend swimming shoes because of the rocks. In general the beach is good, because it is close too the city and you can swim but it's not as good as other beaches....

All the beaches are stoney. Because it's near Split and the national park it becomes very crowded. The main area is vibrant with loud music and a food hut. The furthest part of the beach is a nudist beach. The sea has a strong current so don't swim to far in plus it becomes deep very quickly. Be warned the cabs try and over charge you - haggle!
