Service was hot and cold. We were met by a girl who was actually leaving as her shift was over but she took time to get us a table. All down hill after that. A male server took our order. I had the classic burger. I asked what came on it and was told lettuce tomato and burger sauce. I asked could I just get onions and cheese and nothing else. He said I couldn't get cheese on the burger for some reason. I said I'd have with just onions so and could I have ketchup on the side. Drinks were one coke and a large water for me. Drinks arrived but he brought no glass for me so said he would get one. 5 mins later he was serving another table and I had to get his attention to actually bring me a glass. My partner got a beef tagliatelle which was basically just a spaghetti bolognese but tasted fine. My burger came out and it had the burger sauce which I specifically said I didn't want. When I said this to same waiter he said I hadn't said I didn't want it. Every time I order a burger without fail I take time to explain that I definitely don't want any sauce on it. He didn't apologise at all and I when he finally asked if I wanted a new one he was almost annoyed. It took a good 20 mins for a replacement to come and my partner and completely finished eating with a few minutes. Again no apology when new one came. The burger itself was fine, nothing special. Aside from that we weren't even given napkins. There was no salt or pepper on the table. Not once even after the mixup with the order did the server ask us at any point if everything was OK or did we need anything.

We have been here about a week on holidays. This was literally the only time in any establishment we didn't leave a tip. We had worse food in other restaurants and still left a tip as the service was better.

I was also charged for ketchup as well which we thought was very strange.

There were kids running around the whole place as well. One even came up to our table shouting and seen no staff say anything to them or...

The dining experience in this particular instance left much to be desired, marked by significant shortcomings. While the beverages on offer were commendable, regrettably, the quality of the food merely achieved an average standard. However, the most significant letdown of the evening was undoubtedly the service, a situation I must characterize as one of the most profoundly disappointing encounters in my extensive dining history.

To initiate, it is worth noting that an inordinate 25 minutes elapsed before a member of the staff approached our table to take our order. Subsequently, an additional 18 minutes passed before our beverages were finally served. Furthermore, there was an additional delay of 20 minutes for the arrival of the initial dish, though it is imperative to clarify that not all ordered dishes were presented during this interval.

The situation reached further inconvenience when we found ourselves waiting for the bill, which was not forthcoming. We were compelled to endure a lengthy 30-minute interval before a waiter finally acknowledged our presence. The absence of attention to our needs became even more conspicuous as we observed a group of five waitstaff engrossed in casual conversation, instead of attending to the requirements of the diners. Moreover, the waiter designated to our section exhibited a noticeable lack of courtesy and professionalism. We were left unattended for a considerable five-minute period before any staff member recognized our presence, an unfortunate lapse in the expected standards of service.

It is with profound disappointment that I, drawing upon my extensive background in the hospitality industry, must categorize this dining experience as the most subpar encounter I have ever endured.

P.S. The service was so regrettably slow that I found myself with ample time to rewrite this message three times while waiting...

My Wife and I looked forward to dinner here as the atmosphere at the outside tables looked amazing. We booked in for the following evening as it was too busy that night for a walk in.

Once again, the atmosphere outside is great, nice soft lighting and very cozy and private with lovely views.

That's where the good parts end unfortunately.

I ordered the pork skewers with bacon and my wife ordered the swordfish steak. Both meals were not cheap, €18 and €28 euro respectively with sides that were another €7 euro each. But these were some of the cheaper meals on the menu surprisingly.

My Pork skewers were lovely, well seasoned and the smoky flavour off the grill was amazing, the portion size was decent too, with my fries i didn't feel hungry after eating.

However my wives Swordfish steak was awful, unseasoned and extremely fishy. We've never eaten this fish so wasn't sure what to expect but after about 2 bites, she couldn't stomach anymore. The waiter took the meal away but refused to take it off the bill, meaning her fries and salad cost her €42 euro, just lovely..

This is also the point where the waiter became impossible to find, he didn't come back for atleast 15 minutes, meaning if she wanted to order something different, it was too late as I had already eaten all of my food and finished our drinks. He then disappeared for a further 20 minutes, while not glancing in our direction every time I tried to get the bill..

Overall this disappointing evening cost us €82 and made sure we would...

The place looks wonderful inside and out. When we arrived the outside terrace was full (or reserved) so we sat inside, which remained almost empty. We were initially served drinks by a charming and friendly waiter. As the restaurant got busy we ‘lost’ our waiter and it seemed we had to grab random passing waiters, who were all working very busily to serve the outside terrace. It felt like we were forgotten. Food was all totally under seasoned. Except the grilled vegetables which were over salted (but nothing else). Fries were oily and limp. The Octopus starter was enough for three people (see pic)! I had a tuna strak, supposedly rare, it was medium to well done, not pink at all. My guest had pork in bacon. Again no seasoning. We sent the fries back early on. At a certain point, a live band came on outside and the music (amped) was pipes inside. It was so loud you couldn’t hear a guest opposite on the same table. I initially i saw the manger attend and turn it down, but it reverted to very loud. I complained twice. But he didn’t attend to it again. We literally had to shout at the waiter as we tried to pay. As we had been forgotten it took ages to gran a waiter as they rushed past us in a blur. When we paid, although they took the uneaten fries off the bill, there was no other attempt to ameliorate our very poor experience. Rubbish evening. Would not go again.

Beautiful atmosphere and the menu offers lots of options with meant, fish and even vegan options. The staff is friendly and informed about the daily specials. My ribeye steaks was ordered medium rare and I received it medium which is not a big deal since this happened often but when you charge 50 euro for an Irish ripeye this is actually not good. The really bad thing were the side dishes (truffle mash and pasta with cheese). Let’s start with the easy one, pasta with cheese which was actually really only pasta with very mild white cheese, without any seasoning. The second side dish was potato mash with truffle which was complete fail. They must have mashed the wrong kind of potato and/or cold potatoes to get this bad result. There was no taste of truffle at all. Maybe because the mash was cold or, they must have forgotten it. The green pepper sauce was similar bland in taste. As you can see on the picture there is no “love” added to the main course at all. The desert was pancake with cottage cheese which was OK. Nothing special. Overall, nice location and friendly staff but the kitchen has lots of room for improvement to charge 100 euro per person.

Great restaurant on the beach, fantastic service, with delicious food and wine. We came here 3 different times for date night and each time it didn’t disappoint! First time we had truffle prosciutto pasta with steak cooked medium with Gorgonzola sauce and grilled veg. Second time we had veal ribs with grilled veg and truffle fries plus the beef tagliatelle - this was all insanely delicious but way too much food!! Pasta is a big portion so took half home. And the last time we had a tomahawk steak, Gorgonzola sauce with sides of grilled veg, truffle Fries and truffle penne pasta. All absolutely amazing, meat is grilled to perfection and all the red wines we tried were just perfect. Service is attentive & efficient without being overbearing. Atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the interiors are classy with perfect dim lighting in the evening. I can imagine how beautiful the view is in summer so definitely check in out.
