St. Anthony’s Canal Hiking Trail — Attraction in Grad Šibenik

Šetnica u kanalu Sv Ante, la passeggiata nel canale di Sant’Antonio.

La passeggiata nel Canale di Sant’Antonio è molto bella da fare, sia a piedi che andando in bicicletta soltanto con quest’ultima c’è un piccolo percorso che è troppo ripido e consigliano di fare questo pezzetto accompagnando la bicicletta a piedi. Si può partire da ambo i lati, il percorso parte da Mandaline alla periferia di Šibenik fino ad arrivare ai piedi della Fortezza di San Nicola vicino a Zablaće. La passeggiata è molto bella, interessante e offre dei bellissimi panorami sia della città di Šibenik con tutto il canale, sia verso l’esterno con il mare aperto e tutte le sue belle isole. Partendo da Zablaće bisogna prendere una piccola strada che porta ad una piccola spiaggetta (beach Sv. Nikola) dove si trova anche un bel parcheggio, si può arrivare fino sotto la fortezza di San Nicola a piedi percorrendo una bella passerella in legno (purtroppo ora si può visitare soltanto dall’ingresso sul mare), per poi proseguire lungo la camminata. Sul percorso si trovano dei vecchi capannoni che una volta erano tutta zona della Marina Militare ed ora vi hanno creato anche una bella spiaggia con tavolini, proseguendo prima di salire sulla prima collina, sulla sinistra si trova una scala che scende al mare e si possono vedere i resti di una piccola cappella di Sant’Antonio e una galleria scavata a filo del mare perché in tempo di guerra vi tenevano le motonavi mas per difendere la città (si può entrare a visitarla senza pericolo). Proseguendo per il percorso si sale sulla prima collina poi sulla seconda un pochino più alta da cui il panorama a 360 gradi è veramente stupendo, poi si prosegue verso Mandaline oppure si ritorna a Zablaće. Questo percorso è stato ultimato da pochi anni, è veramente molto bello da fare perché si può fare il bagno, ci sono tavolini per piknik, un bellissimo panorama e la zona in cui si trova sono molto belli.

The walk in the Canale di Sant'Antonio is very nice to do, either on foot or by bike only with the latter there is a small path that is too steep and recommend to do this piece accompanying the bike on foot. You can start from both sides, the route starts from Mandaline on the outskirts of Šibenik up to the foot of the Fortress of St. Nicholas near Zablaće. The walk is very beautiful, interesting and offers beautiful views of both the city of Šibenik with the whole channel, both to the outside with the open sea and all its beautiful islands. Starting from Zablaće you have to take a small road that leads to a small beach (beach Sv. Nikola) where there is also a nice parking, you can get up under the fortress of St. Nicholas walking along a beautiful wooden walkway (unfortunately now can only visit from the entrance to the sea), and then continue along the walk. On the way there are old warehouses that once were all part of the Navy and now they have also created a beautiful beach with tables, continuing before climbing the first hill, on the left is a ladder that goes down to the sea and you can see the remains of a small chapel of Sant'Antonio and a gallery dug into the sea because in times of war the motorboats were kept there to defend the city (you can enter it without danger). Continuing along the path you climb on the first hill then on the second a little bit higher from which the 360 ​​degree panorama is truly amazing, then continue towards Mandaline or return to Zablaće. This path has been completed a few years ago, it is really very nice to do because you can swim, there are tables for piknik, a beautiful view and the area in which it is located are...

Prekrasna šetnica i svakako je obici. parkirati auto kraj prve rampe, prema moru pjeske i onda ulijevo setnicom. Prvo se dode do hangara vojnih te daljnim putem se dode do dva vidikovca s prekrasnim pogledom N Sibrnik, Solaris, Vodice te svakako obratito paznju na drvenu ogradu s kojom s spusts malo dolje te se tamo nalazi tunel iza kojega slijedi spilja unutar koje su se brodovi sakrivali te se hoda spiljom do drugog kraja gdje je takoder drugi dio spilje ispred koje se nalazi kore te se istim putem vracas nazad. Staza je taman za proci, mada preporzcam upaliti svjetilju na mobu cisto da djeca bolje vide put, ali nije da je staza premracna i predugo. Putem svakako na stjeni uociti oznaku Šibenik jer prilikom voznje kanalom se vidi taj znak kao i navedne dvije spilje. Istim putem se vracas, i kada dodes do pocetne tocke od koje si krenuo, ide setnica na kojoj se nalazile stari vojni cucavci s pogledom na more, uza toga slijedi setnica po drvenom mostu koji se nalazi malo iznad mora, nakon toga ide suma s bunkerima te potom plicak kojim se dolazi do tvrdave Sv. Nikole, s time da se moze doci samo do straznje strane i potom nazada. Po meni ici u natikacama, pogotovo zbog ovog puta preko vode, kafic kada sko bili 24.7 nike radio, niti ga ima tamo, dok u memorijalnom centru mozete napuniti boce s vodom. Uglavnom preporuka za obici kada je oblacno jer po zegi bi bilo malo naporno. Nakon takvog izleta, pocastiti se najboljom kavh u Zablaću caffe Palma, 5 min voznje. Awesome view from the top of the hill. Pretty steep path near the top, but definitely worth it. With good weather you can see some distant islands. Sibenik is close and nicely visible.
