We looked forwared to this trip a whole year only to receive a dirty house with bed bugs in it. We left the house the next day as we could not stay any longer and had to clean everything we brought there back home for a whole week. It was terrible! The agency „My Luxoria“ claimed to only be the Agent and that they will contact the host to contact us in order to get the money back which the host never did. When I contacted the host, she was not willing to make it up and even received new guests during our stay, as the house was avaible not on „My Luxoria“ but on Booking.com again. I will have to contact the Tourist Agency as well as this was more than unfair what happened to us. And to only clean the beds with a vaccum cleaner and wather is not the solution. I have a toddler who suffered the most through these bed bug bites. Never again will I book on this page, although I booked 3 times prior to this stay on „My Luxoria“ and were always happy. I strongly advise against staying at Villa Contessa in Mali Lošinj. It was an absolute nightmare and a total disappointment. The biggest shock was discovering that the head chef – a woman in her 60s – was living with us in the villa. Nowhere in the listing was this mentioned, which is something that should be made very clear upfront. Had we known we’d be sharing the space with a stranger, we would never have booked. It’s impossible to feel relaxed in such conditions – no one expects to live with someone they don’t know, especially while on holiday. Any sense of privacy was out of the question.

The food was another major issue – greasy and overly rich. My husband suffered from stomach problems for several days, which completely ruined our time there. We ended up cutting our stay short by two days because it became unbearable. As for the service, it was mediocre at best. While the place was clean, there was a real lack of attention to ensuring the guests’ comfort.

In summary, it was a disaster of a stay. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone seeking...
