Μικρός αλλα πανέμορφος αρχαιολογικός χώρος που δυστυχώς είναι αρκετά παραμελημένος. Βρίσκεται σε τουριστική περιοχή δίπλα από ξενοδοχεία πολυτελείας αλλά λίγοι τον γνωρίζουν. Το μουσείο κλείνει στις 4 🤦♂️

Die archäologischen Ausgrabungen sind jetzt nicht so interessant, dafür aber die Natur und die Aussicht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

If you come here expecting to see a plethora of Archaeology then forget it. You can see more impressive ruins for free behind the restaurants at Paphos Harbour, on Fabrica Hill, or at the Meletis Forest Necropolis. The only reason I have given this two stars instead of one is because there are some nice views here.

Nothing much to view apart from some foundation of an ancient settlement. A small information centre provides some details into the settlement and region. No shelter from the sun. Probably not worth making a dedicated trip to this site.

Maa Paleokastro nad Zatoką Coral. Zachowane fragmenty cyklopich murów i zabudowań z okresu mykeńskiego. Datowane na ok. 1200 pne. jako okres upadku mykeńskiego na lądzie i zasiedlania Cypru. Muzeum.. dziwne. Kosmiczny spodek wpuszczony w ziemię, w środku kilka tablic informacyjnych i... tyle. Czułam się mocno rozczarowana choć bardzo mnie interesuje historia mykeńskiego okresu. Nie warto. Chyba, że dla widoków, te są wspaniałe.

Εντυπωσιακά κυκλώπεια τείχη, πολύ καλύτερα διατηρημένα από άλλες περιοχές. Μια σηματοδότηση του χώρου με πληροφορίες για τα ευρήματα, όπως και ένα στέγαστρο κάπου, θα ήταν χρήσιμα. Το μνημείο του αποικισμού πολύ ξεχωριστό αρχιτεκτονικά, αλλά πρέπει να βρεθεί μια λύση για τη ζέστη και επίσης πρέπει να καθαρίζεται.
