Our stay at Corallia Beach Hotel was far from pleasant, marred by a series of disappointing experiences that overshadowed the few positive aspects of the location. Room Conditions: The rooms were notably dated, with furniture seemingly straight out of the 70s and 80s. The bed, in particular, was uncomfortable, with broken springs making it difficult to get a good night's sleep, the bed was hard as well. The air conditioning unit was extremely old and barely functional, rendering it practically useless. Listing it as a room feature on booking sites feels deceptive. Additionally, there was an incident where the water supply was cut off for about an hour, which was inconvenient. WiFi: There is no WiFi in the rooms, only in the reception and the pool bar. Hotel Amenities and Location: On the positive side, the hotel offers a stunning view and a large pool. Its proximity to the sea is also a major plus. There is a bus service from the hotel to a nearby tourist city center, which is quite convenient. However, for those who prefer walking, the closest large supermarket is about 30 minutes away, with only minimarts in the immediate vicinity and a few bars. There is a 24/7 hotel mini shop as well with higher, but not to expensive prices. The gym was unusable as it closes as 8 o’clock, but there is no AC inside so the room temperature while exercising is 30-35 degrees Celsius. Dining Experience: I highly recommend avoiding the hotel restaurant (pool bar) due to serious hygiene concerns. I observed a staff member handling multiple roles—cleaning the floor, taking orders, cooking, and serving food—without washing their hands in between tasks. Instead, consider dining at Porto Antico restaurant nearby, which offers a far better experience (see my other review for pictures). Customer Service: The customer service at Corallia Beach was shockingly poor. The staff displayed unprofessional behavior on multiple occasions. One incident involved a guest being yelled at simply for requesting a spoon for his morning coffee. Additionally, when we attempted to extend our stay for an emergency, we were initially told it would be possible for 90€. However, just an hour or so before checkout, we were informed that we would be sent to another hotel (possibly of significantly lower quality as I’ve read in another review), without any prior warning or clear information on the new location. This kind of treatment has happened before, as other reviews indicate similar experiences with overbooking. Don’t visit this hotel for your own best. Choose another hotel and don’t ruin your vacation by visiting this hotel.

Disappointed! We've stayed at this hotel several times but it just seems to get worse and worse. We won't be going back unless major improvements are made. I think the majority of reviews on here seem to agree too. Good points first... Pool Area and Pool Bar is fab, staff are great and the selection of food and drinks through the daytime is good. Pool can get very warm in the daytime, could really do with adding cold water more often. Location is fantastic, with great views (as you can see from the photos) great beach front location and a short bus ride into Coral Bay Strip. The Cleaning Staff are wonderful too, always accommodating and friendly, can't fault them when they have such a tough job trying to keep such dated rooms clean. Bad Points... Air Conditioning in the rooms is frustrating, it works most of the afternoon and evening but for some reason, whether it's maintenance or cost reduction, they turn it off through the night. We woke up EVERY SINGLE NIGHT in pools of sweat as the cold element of the AC had been switched off and it was just blowing hot air round the room. Had to open all doors and windows to get any air in, which was fine if there was a breeze but most nights in August are very warm outside! It was obvious there was something going on with it as every morning the Reception area had all the doors and windows open too until about 10:30am when the AC would miraculously correct itself and blow cold again. I complained several times only to be told they would contact maintenance but nothing ever came of it. Spoke to several other guests round the pool area who were all having the same issue through the night. Very frustrating. The rooms are extremely dated. Mattresses are rock hard. We have family in the area so luckily they lent me a mattress topper to add a bit of comfort to the bed. The sofa beds in the front room though are even worse. My 16 year old struggled to sleep on them. Between the hard beds and the AC we didn't get a good night's sleep our entire stay. Ants all over the kitchen sides every day. We couldn't leave any food in the kitchen area so had to leave it on top of the wardrobe in the living area. It's a real shame as this could be a fab hotel if they would just update certain areas of it. Can't fault the pool bar and cleaning staff though. All very friendly and welcoming.

5 Star for location of this Hotel! We stayed here for a week at the end of August and we had a mixed stay if I am being honest... First room we were given was just not acceptable, I understand that someone has to have that room but the location was terrible, our view from balcony was a building site! You could see the sea if you leant right over the balcony...! I wish that the room location was the only ting wrong, the room was quite dirty and had a major ant problem, yes it's nature, I know but we didn't want to share our holiday with an Ant colony... Long story short, we opted for a paid upgrade to a front facing sea view room, the difference was night and day! The room was clean, very big, and the view was out of this world. The weather was too hot some days to be able to go out and do things, so the balcony was a saving grace, there was a few days we didn't even leave the room! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, every night! We were staying on half board, so just breakfast and evening meal, it's a buffet style help yourself type thing. Always plenty of choice, even going down 30 mins before end of service there was always plenty left and still hot too. Their Souvlaki was my favourite, and their Beef Stifado. As I say Location is everything with this hotel, nicely situated on Laourou beach small marina to the left of the hotel for jet ski hire etc. Bus stop is located in the car park right next to hotel for the bus into Paphos Harbour, we had a lovely day out there on my birthday. 5 Euro for a day ticket for the buses which isn't bad tbf. Overall, the hotel is fine to stay in, some of the reviews I have read are just so ridiculous, my wife was convinced we were going to see rodents and all sorts running around the rooms! The rooms may be a little dated and could do with bringing into the 2020's, maybe wifi in the rooms, there was a lot of water damage on the bathroom doors (in both rooms we were in) also quite a bait of limescale on the taps in the sinks which didn't bother me either way if I am being honest. Given 4 stars overall because I can't give 3.5. Lovely gesture from the hotel staff, I was left a huge birthday cake in the room when we returned from Paphos! Many thanks to Anthi and the team.

Stayed in October 2025 - Family holiday via Jet2, 2 rooms, 4 adults (2x Under 25)||TL;DR - this hotel will not suit your needs. Read the reviews, set your expectations very low (1/2 stars), and do not book this hotel if you are expecting a “normal package holiday”. If you are an older, quieter, couple, looking to eat, drink, sunbathe on the beach every day and nothing else - this hotel would maybe work.||Arrival - |Do not book a coach transfer as you could be over an hour from Paphos Airport. This hotel is incredibly out of the way from main centre of Paphos, and one of the last on the main bus route. You will be asked to provide passport and contact details upon arrival, check-in can last up to 10-15 mins. Arrived before 11pm and had to navigate to room in darkness, there is no lighting or none that works. Corridors are outside (like a Motel), ceilings are very low and I personally hit my head hard on this as no signage or warnings were present. Our room (01B) was quoted as a Studio Side Sea View. As on the basement floor, our view out the back door was of a perimeter hedge. Walkways are not accessibly lit, and “ramps” are incredibly radical. Stairways are trip hazards and walls are very low down and could be dangerous for children. There is still Covid-19 stickers, information, and rules placed in the foyer in the very dated lobby, which is the first of two wifi hotspots (which is around 300mbps, hilariously quick speeds for a hotel without any in-room wifi). Placed in the centre of the lobby is a table of “Thank you” cards and a large shrine to the hotels founder. ||Room(s) -| Studio room was very very basic. We did not unpack as there was no space to. The beds were two single beds pushed together, and incredibly hard. Funnily enough, the “duvet” is the same material used for the “curtain” which is really not effective at blocking sunlight, streetlights, or the sun’s heat. The air conditioning, despite being advertised to be “off”, was still operational from the wall however sounded in incredible disrepair and did not blow air at all. Appliances were very dated and damaged, and tap fittings are rusted and dirty. The fridge had not been cleaned. The sheets on the bed were ripped, and the curtains were hanging off the wall. The sink also was blocked upon arrival. The TV looked to be new, however you must ask for a TV remote at reception. Not to worry, as the TV could not tune to any channels and as there is no in-room Wifi, none of the smart features work. If you plan to cook, most of the advertised in-room features do not exist, or you have to request items (such as a second glass or mug for a double occupancy room). What was included in our room, was an array of bugs and cockroaches - causing my partner to be unable to sleep. We reported bugs for 3 days, and was presented with half a can of bug spray. Hotel staff stated “The bugs come in from under the door” - which did not help the situation. The hotel “is fully booked” until a point where our call-out for the second and third cockroaches afforded us a room move to 323 - a one bedroom apartment which faced the car park and next-door hotel. This room, despite bigger, still follows the same overall theme of the hotel - dated, in need of drastic repair, and a total rethink. This time the TV worked. The carpark can be very loud from locals at nights, evident by donut and tire markings, and in the mornings, the room is a suntrap which heats the room to the point it forces you to be awake such as in a tent. With no working aircon, this can become uncomfortable. If you wish to charge your phone in this room, bring an extension or a plug with multiple connections. The walk to this 3rd floor room adds the peril of staircases with no handrails, broken ceiling and ceiling tiles, and very low balcony walls which for myself (6’5) did not reach my waist. Shaver plugs in all 3 of the rooms we used did not work, hence I was unshaven for my stay as I use an electric razor. The showers were unreliable, and flipped between hot and cold often. Walls are paper thin - you can hear conversations (and heated complaint phone calls to holiday companies) very easily room to room - which is no surprise as room 5B/5A/5 are all directly within one metre of each other. As I will go on to explain later, the price paid for this holiday exceeds any excuse for the quality of the rooms and the hotel overall. The area has multiple hotels ready to take your cash and provide a 10-fold better service for you for the same or negligibly higher price. If you are considering this hotel, please research others first before using this.||Hotel amenities - |There is a pool with sunbeds, claimed by most very early in the morning for all day. The beach is a 30 second walk from the pool - but despite the same name and owner as the hotel, you do not get any preferential rates or benefits as any visitors from the large carpark or local area. Beds are €2.50 for the day… And that is it - no entertainment, no music, no late nights. This would suit some, but not the majority who look to holiday in the local area. If you want to visit this beach, stay somewhere else and get the bus or hire a car. You are treated as any hotel guest would be even if you come from far far away - as long as your towel is down on your bed first and you have €2.50 to spend. ||Breakfast and dining -|Breakfast was included in our room, and we used this on one day only. The buffet looked to be a decent spread, but the taste and quality of the food was really not up to any form of standard - especially not the €8 charged if not included in the room. The ‘bacon’ was grim, and the coffee machine seemed old and dangerous as it overfilled cups and almost burnt my hand. For the same price, please get the bus to the local strip, and any restaurant would provide a better service for the same price. The beach bar is a decent offering for if you are in the hotel during the day, however the menu highlights the cost-cutting nature of the hotel (made in microsoft word, in 3 languages). It is a decent price for ham toastie, but cocktails are similarly priced in the local strip and much better quality than in the hotel. A menu is put through your door (or an attempt is made to) each day, again similarly made in Microsoft word, and we did not use this. The restaurant it self looks nice from a distance, and the service was attentive, however the quality of the food and once you are seated, it is clear that this restaurant is not a lively hub for hotel guests. Closing early (before 9pm) with no entertainment, music, tv, or lounge area, this hotel encourages you to leave and find something better elsewhere. Decent enough if you wish to spend your holiday adventuring and you have a hire car, but this hotel does not suit the majority of holiday makers here - you will be disappointed by its lack of offerings. ||Getting about - |Good news is that the local bus service is able to take you to the local strip and to Paphos Tombs of the Kings bus station. Buses should be every 10 mins. Walkable is the local bar “Legends” which is a great alternative to eating in the hotel. Next to this is the local “supermarket” (tiny) and can be expensive. The local strip has all of your evening needs for all bars and restaurants. The bus can take a while to get into the town centre, and goes past many other hotels which look much more modern and appealing than what you stay in here. Hiring a car seems popular for your stay, but unless you want to visit remote locations, the bus to Paphos can be a good money saver. However, there is no lighting between the bus and the hotel, and can be dangerous for walking back. ||General comments-||The guests staying in the hotel consistently smoked and vaped in communal areas - and this is a common theme across Cyprus. The tourism in this specific part of the area lays itself to a primarily British holiday-maker who has very little regard for where smoke ends up. The hotel clients are mainly older, British, quieter couples who keep to themselves and take up a sunbed for the day, or go to the beach. We spent an hour by the pool, which was empty in the water but full on the sun beds. It felt almost awkward to talk or make a noise - there is no music and almost library like as the eyes of those sunbathing watch you try to use the cold dirty pool. There is not much to do other than just this. Despite younger people and families staying while we were here, this hotel really is not for your family to stay. Children would be very bored with no amenities other than the pool, and no in-room wifi or working tv’s. As a younger traveller, I felt out of place and not comfortable here. ||I was extremely disappointed with our stay, so much so that when speaking to our Jet2 rep, they noted that our issues were common ‘every time I come to this hotel’ which is at least twice weekly! It was also noted that Jet2 may not be renewing any deal with this hotel for these reasons. ||The lobby, as stated was one of two wifi hotspots, is just a complaints paradise - where either a guest hears complaints when checking in, or you are requested to have a seat whilst the only manager who seemed to be in charge does all of the work. This can take upwards of 30 mins to wait for her to be available for rooming issues. Maintenance issues are reported more quickly, but is a pot-luck to whether they are resolved. The other room in our party had no working tv for the entire week. It feels uncomfortable to sit in the lobby, especially with flickering lights and the marble floor which guests slipped on often as only one wet floor sign was placed. ||Overall - this hotel is really for a traveller who does not mind roughing it. However, for the price, you are expecting a much more high quality hotel and service to be provided. If this hotel was half the cost, you may expect these issues to be prevalent- however our holiday was severely impacted as the “sell” on the hotel was completely incorrect as to the service that was provided. ||Recommendation?||Book somewhere else - this hotel is a victim of a lack of investment and does not cater for the majority of holidaymakers. Do not stay here unless you have experienced the hotel before, or you wish for your holiday to be much more relaxing and worth your hard earned cash. I do not enjoy writing such negative comments on a hotel, however I also do not enjoy my partner and loved ones having a less than ideal holiday with regards to how much money was spent to come and enjoy time away. This hotel requires either a new description and costings (2 star and cheaper rates), or requires a dramatic refurbishment into a Motel or otherwise to bring it to the correct standards expected. ||Hilariously on leaving I was handed a questionnaire which of course I put this information onto. The main manager would not let me leave her sight with her pen, so reluctantly I gave it back to her and handed my questionnaire...

Part 1 Im not one to leave reviews but this I will not let slide! Me and my daughter arrived late on a Friday night for a 7 night stay. We walked into the reception area and it was like time travelling back into the 1960’s it was very dark and felt more like a retirement home than a hotel. We were greeted by a gentleman who gave us some orange juices. I couldn’t help but notice the massive orange food stain down his white shirt he looked as if he was at home on the sofa lounging and not expecting guests However, he offered to help me with my bags which I accepted, Immediately I was hit with a potent body odor! I told him I’d take it from there and politely said thank you. On entering the room I was quite disappointed as it didn’t look anything like the pictures! It is in desperate need of refurbishing the walls were dirty there was a huge patch by the mirror in the bedroom where the paint is crusted and peeling off. The ceiling tiles were broken in the dining area. There were no plug sockets in the bedroom! I asked at reception for an extension lead that turned up in our room two days later and that was faulty with loose wiring! The room was clean and we wasn’t going to be spending very much time there the view was decent despite being directly on to the backend of the carpark with a side sea view. We stayed Bed & Breakfast, breakfast was ok for the price. We booked excursions and caught the bus down to the harbour or coral bay most days. Sunday we stayed around the pool all the bar-staff were polite and friendly I ordered a koppaberg which was €4.80 per can abit expensive considering the shop in the hotel sells for €2.90. Another day we came back and sat by the poolside we I ordered a portion of chips and one apple the chips were €3.00 But the bill came to €7.50 I was in complete shock I said “you’ve made a mistake” he said no one fruit is €4.50 I replied one apple? you have got to be joking! he said it was two cut up which I did not ask for he said this is the price his manager has come up with. I was furious I felt like giving it back as it was untouched and covered in foil for take away. I paid to avoid any confrontation but I was very much disappointed as I could of brought two packets of apples for the price. We ate at Porto Antico two nights which is a short walk from the hotel that was great! friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I got talking to one of the waiters he said the restaurant is owned by the hotel owner too. Thursday evening we went for dinner approximately 10 mins by bus. We caught the bus back me and my 3 and half year old daughter were involved in an accident on the bus where the engine blew up! We managed to escape the bus but it was an extremely terrifying experience. I was badly bruised and was seen by the paramedics who then took me to hospital for X-rays I had no broken bones but I had an intercostal muscle tear which is very very painful Making it difficult to even breathe, walk, bend, cough and sneeze. We returned to the hotel at around 2.30am and I asked the bus inspector who was dealing with the accident if he could kindly speak to the reception staff and request a late checkout as the older gentleman on reception the most friendly but did not speak much English said he’s sure they will accommodate but to come to reception at 9am to speak with his colleague. Myself and my daughter went to the room she was very unsettled and still in shock she hardly slept. I was in excruciating pain and was unable to sleep a wink as I could not get myself into a comfortable position. I managed to get myself up off of the bed and with great difficulty I headed down to reception. I explained to this gentleman what had happened I even showed him the footage I had taken on my phone. He abruptly said it’s not our problem! you can have the late checkout it’s €50.00 I explained I had no intentions of requesting a late check out as I planned to leave my cases at reception and spend the day...

Just arrived back from here last night. We really disliked being in this hotel. The first room we were put in was lacking in light and dirty. The floor made our feet black and we can only assume it was insect faeces as in the evening and night we had a lot of crawling insects. When we told the reception we just got given a can of insect spray. Not impressed. I had my 7 month old with me and my 25 month old and we were given old, broken dirty cots to put them in. When we told the reception one of the cots was collapsing he answered that it wasn't put up right, but when we told him that we had checked it all over and re-put up again and again, he then implied that we were wrong. He did send a house keeper and it was replaced because it was broken. He never apologized for telling us that he thought we were wrong. We spoke to other families with young infants and they confirmed that their cots were grubby and broken. One other parent had put her quilt under the cot to raise it and support the bit that kept collapsing. We paid extra (because they wouldn't move us) for an "upgrade". The "upgrade" was an identical room with the same very dated furniture but just with a sea view. The room was cleaner than the previous one and thankfully there was no insects in this new room. However for the same facilities this room cost us £20 extra a night (two reception staff did tell us two different prices though, we were first told £20 then told £25 the next day). The air conditioning did not work at all in EITHER of the rooms. It was just a noisy machine pumping hot air out (and yes we did have it on the right settings).

The food menu was bland but to be fair the prices were reasonable.

Most upsetting for me, is that the place was not family friendly. The majority of staff just do not smile. The only smiley staff they had were two young men working the breakfast. The staff were not child friendly at all. Most of the hotel was occupied by OAP's at our time of visiting (a percentage being residents). Perhaps they weren't use to children.

Furniture is worn and had it's day. Parasols in the garden have plenty of holes, the pool needed some care maintenance and the whole kitchen in the rooms need to be replaced and modernized.

The lifts are also dodgy, one jumps when its finished. The others have a mind of their own, closing their doors on you like they had no sensors, taken us to all the floors even though only one button had been pressed. Or not taking you to your floor at all.

Wifi only works in the reception lobby, so in the evenings you awkwardly find people sprawled across the sofa's on their phones and tablets.

We were staying on insurance as my two children had fallen ill. We paid for the first couple of nights and then the insurance was to take over. The insurance told us that they had tried booking the next couple of nights but the staff had said they can't book until the manager was in and that was at 3/4 o'clock in the afternoon...check out was at 12. And whilst we could see that the hotel was no where near full, they kept telling us that they might not be able to supply the room. They consistently left us feeling like we were limbo and made us feel like they were going to tuft us out at any minute.

For us the staff made us feel very unwelcome. We're not sure why they were so off, whether their behaviour was just for us or not, but it felt personal.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location, it had the most beautiful beach on its doorstep....
