Paphos English Bakery - Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Peyia

After reading the reviews on here thought it worth a try but really wish I hadnt bothered doing the drive. Chips were under cooked and the additional hair in the batter of one of my sausages was an unwelcome addition. Advise staff look at their hygiene and maybe purchase hair nets/hats for staff with long hair. Definitely wont be back.

Having now received a reply from the management I can confirm that we did indeed visit the take away on Tuesday 13th Nov. I ordered the 2 sausage and chips and my partner had the haddock and chips. A young girl with purple in her hair served us. There was another female working to the rear of the property with blonde hair. After we received our order I asked for some pickled onions which were put in a disposable cup and the lid sellotaped on. We had made the trip down from Paphos and were not prepared to make the journey back down to complain. I have also left a similar review on TripAdvisor which you have also requested be removed. The very best glutfree fish and chips EVER.Frydays went above and beyond for my dietary requirements. I also had GF sausage rolls and Cornish pasties ( to take away) the best ever. I very highly recommend Frydays Lovely friendly couple, Very reasonable prices , much much cheaper than what I’ve been paying in the Uk, more or less half the price, and so much better quality and care.Crispy batter, pure white cod and excellent chips. We have not long landed in Cyprus and have semi retired. We normally use the chippy on the hill.We went here for fish and chips. We went in ordered our food. They said go for a beer next door while they cooked it fresh. We also bought a apple pie and a apple crumble. Everything was top. Nice friendly people nice food. To the point we had it again a few days later when we went into lockdown. They delivered it for a euro. See you very soon...
