Really disappointing experience with the service department. I dropped a new to me BMW off for a preseason tune up and just wanted it checked over by the a BMW "expert". They didn't check anything on it except change the oil and brake fluid. The bike smoked like crazy for 2 days burning off whatever fluid they spilled on it during the maintenance. Never once mentioned over the phone that the battery may need replaced, just said to maybe not turn it off until I get home. Never mentioned that their software wasn't working well before I dropped the bike off and they couldn't reset the maintenance reminder lights. They didn't check the tire pressure until I asked when I picked up the bike and told me they "forgot" to check why the TPMS weren't reading. They didn't check chain sag or condition. When I picked up the bike I was told I owed almost $200 more then what was quoted for the oil change and brake fluid flush when I dropped the bike off. The lady at the counter couldn't provide an explanation as to why it was more, just shop "fees". I sent an email with these concerns to the shop but no one contacted me back. I would have been way better off doing the work myself and buying the BMW programmer.
