Mt. McKinley Bank — Attraction in Alaska

This banks online banking is the worst. I can never log in. I have an advance password keeper. I NEVER have problems logging to any site. But with Mt McKinley my username and password seem to randomly change or flatout disappear. Seriously, I only log in to this account like 3 times a year and it is guaranteed my password won't work and I will have to call the bank to get access to my account. I am no newbie computer user. I know how to save passwords and login to site. And this bank just has the WORST online portal. It is soooo frustrating to have to jump through 20 hoops JUST TO LOG IN. Fortunately I only have a mortgage with them. If I had to do everyday banking with this bank, I would leave. And that is my point... I will never open another bank account with this bank. They don't have their act together. They can't even figure out a simple login. So I have had it. After years and years of repeatedly having to call them to reset my password (my password the is save in a premium password keeper), I am finally motivated to write this review. No more "Our apolgizes sir". "Sorry this is happening to you" or whatever excuse they make. Mt. Mckinley Bank - you get ONE STAR. And that is being kind. Ugh... online ease of use it important. And they don't seem to care. So ONE STAR! And...

I have only had wonderful helpful experiences with Mt. McKinley Bank employees, from the loan officers in both equity and mortgage departments to the tellers.

As to some of the previous customer negative reports on this site, I can only surmise that it might have been unfortunately catching an employee having a really bad day,..and absolutely there is excusing poor attitudes and service, however, I think we’ve all been there,..I know I have, at least a few...

I normally have great interactions with this baby until one day I came to cash my check and was charged $10. When I asked about the charge a lady rudely came over the intercom I guess she was the supervisor and was very pushy. This is my normal bank but I don't think it will be anymore. I'm a nee business owner and I'm never rude when I come here but today made me not want to do business...
