A good holiday stay with many facilities in tranquil surroundings but a little too basic in parts. First off, a Lego-themed holiday village that gives the option of a bit less crowded accommodations than a hotel is awesome. There's plenty of space to wander, and outdoor activities ranging from an adventure playground, to bike-buggy rentals makes it more than just a place to rest your head. There is the possibility to bring your own accommodation if that's your thing, too, but I didn't see much of the inside of the related facilities. The placement is great, you can feel very removed from the holiday crowds and even wake up to birdsong! An island of tranquility that feels like a woodland paradise when contrasted to Legoland itself. An on-site take-out offers a limited selection at typical attraction-inflated pricing, but the main negative is that it closes very early in the evening, so isn't really suitable for late night dining as you might expect from a take-out. The on site shop is well-stocked with lots of options, without being overrun by souvenirs as some places are. I didn't personally notice if there was any accessibility considerations made, but all the cabins I did see were on grass and did not feature level access, having steps onto a terrace as the only means of access. You'll be thankful for the available activities, which include a dedicated dog walk for your four-legged friends, as the cabins themselves are a little cramped, and not a super comfortable place to share an evening. Also beware that the hot water isn't very well apportioned, so trying to get everyone clean on the same morning is probably a no-go. Externally, the theming is awesome with Lego models that are on-theme throughout the village. Inside the cabins (we stayed in wild west), the themes are continued but the Lego feel is a little more subtle than you may expect, limited to one or two models and some digital art. All in all, a nice place to stay for a couple nights while visiting Legoland, but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay.

We spent four days here with our motorhome. Basically, we felt very comfortable here and the proximity to LegoLand and Lalandia could not be better. We will certainly book a parking space here again. But you also have to honestly say that there are massive problems here. There are only 2 washhouses for the entire place, which is definitely not enough. We were here during the summer holidays. The place was fully booked and the showers and toilets were always dirty. The showers don't work in either of the two washhouses. Cold water and too low water pressure. The toilets stank and mice were running everywhere. Allegedly, it was renovated here in 2014. Unfortunately, you can't recognize that. Something urgently needs to be improved. The limit value was also the fact that the entire place was under water. Even if no one can do anything for the lot of rain, but these were unreasonable circumstances. Our motorhome was 20 centimeters deep in the water. There was no way to get in dry. No employees have been seen anywhere who have tried to do something about the situation in the long term. There were a few mats here and there so that you could try not to get stuck, which has happened to a lot of people. We booked breakfast and dinner buffet in advance at the Pirate Inn. That was a total disappointment. There is the same dinner every day. There were very few vegetables and fruit in the morning and in the evening. The atmosphere was bad. Everything is dirty and the food is cold. The staff were very nice, but we still wouldn't eat here anymore. The kiosk is a cheek. The prices are far too high. Then it's better to go to the Lalandia supermarket for 3 minutes. The prices are family-friendly. However, it must be said that the playgrounds and possibilities within the campsite were good. Overall, one is already deep in the pocket here for the services. It is obvious that the Lego Village is a money machine. Everything is expensive, unkempt and impersonal. That's better at the Lego Hotel.

Had a great holiday in a western wild cabin. This is a Parc with Lego themed houses wild west, ninjago style. We had a 5 person cabin wild west cabin. You have 2 sleeping rooms, living room wit small kitchen that has 2 ceramic pits. Water cooker and filter coffee machine are there also. You have a refrigerator but no freezer. Beds are nice but the sleeping room for the adults is a 2 person bed with a toppermatress. It's a bit short I'm 174cm long and could almost touch the wall with my feet. Also your partner has to crawl over you to get to her/his spot. The kids room has a bunk bed and a seperate bed they are not wide its not really suitable for an adult, if you turn in your sleep a lot you will fall out I think. Thank God they have a bar in the bunk to prevent that ;) The bathroom has a shower, toilet and of course a sink. The hot water goes through a small boiler so if one has a long shower the next one has a cold shower for the next 45minutes. You got a parking space next to your cabin with enough room to give the dog enough roaming space of 5 meters with a leash. On the park you got a big child park, with trampolines, swings and other fun stuff. Even a small animal farm with a donkey that wakes you up in the morning, you don't need a rooster anymore. Facilities you got a snackbar, supermarket and also public toilets for people who come with campers and tents. Also electric spots for your tent and camper. For the dog they have a nice walking route that is fenced off and they have hooper attributes also. From this Parc you have to walk a 10 minutes to get to Legoland.

The room was very clean, but that was about the only thing that could recommend it. The room was small, but that wasn't really a problem as we were outdoors all day. The room was sadly very stuffy and badly ventilated, we had the 2 windows in the room completely opened for 2 days and the air quality was still very poor. The showers were one big joke. There was a timer on the shower for 30 seconds (we timed it) like you see in some swimming pools. For over 200 euros a night you'd expect to at least be able to take a shower. Because of the timer things like washing your hair took about 4x as long and I think more water was wasted because of it. As for the shower head, when put into the 'handle' it turned completely sideways and was aimed at the wall. So you had to hold the shower head while showering while simultaneously pushing the button every 30 seconds. (actually more frequently because water pressure disappeared after about 20/25 seconds) These showers were also very hard to operate for children. ||||Upon arrival we were informed that the room came with a free Legoland parking pass for the day of check-out. This information was not provided in the room information, during the booking process or in the messages we recieved after booking the room. Which is why we, when booking our Legoland tickets ahead of time, also bought a parking pass. I asked about this and the possibility of getting a refund for the money we wasted on a parking pass, for which I was referred to reservation@legoland.dk. There I got the insensitive message that tickets were non-refundable and I should have seen that when booking the tickets. While the same company refused to inform me of the free parking pass while booking the room. You can't chastise a customer for asking for a refund when your company did not provide accurate information during the booking of a severly overpriced room. ||||This said, the staff in the hotel were all very friendly and eager to help with anything if necessary. The room was very clean, as were the tables in the restaurant (at breakfast). The breakfast they offered was good, there were plenty of choices for everyone to be contented. No empty plates that weren't filled in time or anything, staff was on top of that and of the cleaning of the tables. While I have seen a lot of reviews that this was not the case during peak vacation periods (We were there at the start of September). ||||The negative points, and utter lack of help from customer service, were not something the fun theme of the room or the nice staff on site could make up for. Absolutely not worth the very steep price of the room. You pay high end hotel prices for amenities you find in...

We had a four-night stay in a Ninjago cabin at the end of August for 2 adults and 2 children. The kids loved the cabin and the theme, it was well done and made it all the more magical for them. It was clean, the pillows, mattresses and duvets all seemed pretty new and in very good condition. We took our own bed linen and towels. Unfortunately it wasn't the most comfortable experience we've had & we did not get much sleep. The adult bed is a small double with access from only one side. The wall between the adult bed and kids bunk bed is very thin and the bunk bed creaked at the slightest motion. The maintenance team kindly came round after the first night to sort out the top bunk, they put some padding and it did help but the bottom bunk was just as creaky. We also had quite a storm while we were there and the cabin was under trees so there was dripping on the roof all night. The shower went straight onto the bathroom floor with no tray so it all got very wet. The kitchen had a 2 ring hob, kettle, filter coffee machine and fridge. We didn't cook so it was fine for breakfasts and hot drinks. ||We used the supermarket at the Lalandia for most things as it was cheaper than the onsite shop and had way more choice, I was quite impressed. It was only 5 minutes walk away and the Lalandia centre is great, like a mini-Vegas. You can also get pizzas made fresh to take away just near the supermarket which were really good, and they're pretty reasonable at about £12 each. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful when we had any problems. We were able to leave our bags for a while after checking out which was really useful. There was an hourly free bus to the airport. It also went to Legoland which was only a couple of minutes walk away anyway, and the Lego House was a lovely 10 minute walk through a sculpture park. On arrival we got a taxi as it was late and that cost about £15. We took currency but didn't need it, everything is geared up to cards. ||The holiday village is great, lots of lego models and plenty to keep the kids amused - lovely playparks and fun things to see. We didn't eat at the restaurant on site but we ate at Bones in Lalandia and at the sushi restaurant in the centre of Billund, both of which had robots (much amusement!) and the food was good but they were pretty expensive. We had a brilliant holiday though and would highly recommend it as a destination as Legoland, the Lego House and the Lalandia waterpark were all fantastic - the perfect family destination and all so...
