This was a great hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. All the ingredients and products were high quality, and clearly prepared with love and respect for the food. There were many options to suit all tastes, including breads, pastries, hams, cheeses and pates, cereals and yogurts, fruit and vegetables, as well as eggs, pancakes and cooked breakfast. We have never had a proper dippy egg from a hotel breakfast buffet before! Or seen an entire honeycomb slice, parts of which were devoured with gusto every morning. ||The swimming pool was salt which meant we did not smell of chlorine every day, and there were lots of toys and floaties for the children to play with. The sauna was lovely and hot. The gym was a great size for a hotel with some excellent equipment. (if you want to run outside, there are lots of well-lit paths in the area)||There were also excellent play facilities, a mini football pitch, big chess, table tennis, fussball, lego tables, and a little creche type room for smaller people with a little climbing frame, ball pit, and other toys such as a little kitchen. ||Staff were lovely. ||I would definitely return to this hotel. It is also walking distance to Lalandia, Legoland, and Lego House even for little legs. The map said it was 40 minutes to walk to the airport so if you had no children in tow and no luggage, this is also dooable. (although a 5 minute, number 43 bus is only 52DKK as children under 12 are free). ||Notes and information: This hotel does not offer dinner service, or at least, not when we visited in December. There is a small 'deli' where you can purchase cold items such as cheese and deli platters, open sandwiches, pasta salad, and pasta bolognese (which can be warmed in the microwave) as well as soup, cake, sweets and crisps, and a range of soft and alcoholic drinks. There is a grocery store within about a 7-minute walk in the Lalandia resort and we had a picnic each night with a combination of 'deli' dishes and items from the shop. We borrowed plates, cutlery and glassware, all with no issues.||Despite initial concerns, this suited us as it is always difficult to get children to sit still in restaurants and this option took away the stress as they were very happy with a picnic! I suppose we could have gone into one of the restaurants in Lalandia but I wanted to get away from the crowds. ||There are tea and coffee-making facilities in the room, but there was no English Breakfast tea, only herbal tea. I had to buy some, and there is no milk either. Creamer and EB tea are a bit odd but there you are. I suppose it depends on what you like. ||Also they don't completely service the room every day unless you request it. They just empty the bins and...

I reserved 2 Courtyard Terrace rooms for our family. Two adults and 1 child in each. The picture of a person shows the room is for 4 people, but in the description it states "The room has space for up to five people." I know most European hotels are smaller, so I figured if it says there is space for 5 people, we would have plenty of room. We did not. We couldn't even open the sofa bed, because there would be no way we could walk around. Besides the false description, there was no air conditioning. Luckily, there was a small fan that we used for some circulation. To charge $485.00 for this type of room was outrageous. We arrived very late the first day, and we were too tired to argue about having to pay for the rooms in advance. When I reserved online, it was not a cheaper 'pay in advance' price. I have never had to pay in advance for a room. We asked for 3 keys for each room. We didn't realize until we got to the rooms that we had 3 keys for one room and only 2 for the other. The next morning, I asked the receptionist for a third key and was told they only allow 2 keys per room, because people don't return them. I told her we were given 3 keys for one room. She just shook her had and said only 2 keys were allowed. I was so angry, but I just walked away. I did not want to create a scene and the employee was not polite or receptive. At over $400 per night, I think they could afford another key.||Also, I think they could afford a toothbrush. Hotels usually have a supply of small items that you might have forgotten. My grandson needed a toothbrush, and, yes, we had to pay for it!||The only good thing about the hotel was the breakfast buffet. It was very good and plentiful serving European style and American style foods. It says breakfast is 'included' in the rate. That's the KEY word - "Included". It's not free. It's definitely part of the room price, but there is no choice to reserve a room without an 'included' breakfast. Again, their descriptions are very deceiving.||The reception desk was a high top table and you always had to call in the room behind to get someone to help you. ||We have traveled extensively and stayed at many hotels in the US and Europe and have paid half the price for very nice, comfortable & roomy luxury hotels.||I definitely do not recommend staying...

Very good location, close to bus stops, and a short walk to the city centre. We arrived around 20.00 due to flight delays and all the amenities, pool, restaurant were open until 21.30. After visiting the pool, which was lovely besides the plastic chairs, we decided to call room service to save time at 21.00. The receptionist just said to call the restaurant but apparently, after 21.00,the room service is not available after that time. We rushed to the restaurant and arrived 15 minutes to closing. We could tell that there was a discomfort, but the staff continued serving us and we ate 2 mains and a dessert to share. £80 just for these and 2 refreshments. At least, the portions are more than generous, no need to buy the sides, I ended up leaving one full. It's £14 per person for breakfast, which I find a bit much, but again, 4 star hotel. I don't know if it was the time of the year we went there, everything seemed very dull. There were only a few more people around. Quite pricy for what is offered. It's supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but in my opinion is a modern, well presented hotel, but no more than that. The bedding was exquisite though. The bathrooms' floors were extremely slippery and there wasn't an obstacle of proper height between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. A very big thank you though for letting us leave our luggage while exploring.

Es un hotel muy confortable. Como un castillo vikingo. La comida muy buena. El desayuno tipo bufé. La temperatura de la pieza justa. Cerca está legoland el parque temático de Lego

We stayed 2 nights on a visit to LEGOLAND and Lego House. The rooms are clean, modern and charming. There are so many seating areas on each floor and around the lobby to hang out. Staff are very friendly and I had nice chats with Mikkel who is a genuine Lego fan. There is a convenient deli area where we found refrigerated, freshly prepared food for sale (even includes microwave instructions) for times when the main restaurant is closed. We kept finding new ways to get from our room on the 2nd floor to the restaurant for breakfast, as there are so many elevators and staircases tucked away at various spots. The breakfast was one of the best we had of any hotel in our European trip, we loved its scale and variety. Each floor has their own water closets, so you can use the one on the floor if the one in your room is occupied. The hotel is located walking distance from LEGOLAND (basically across the street) and about 20 minutes from Lego House if you take the walking path through the sculpture park. I’d definitely stay here again in the future!
