WORST HOTEL EVER. I booked without reading reviews and I really should have. The hotel stinks from cigarettes and bad BO. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything. It is not well cleaned (it wasn’t dirty with trash or dirt just gives you a feeling like it’s not well cleaned). I was very cold and requested to cancel my reservation when I got there. There was no one in reception. (They had someone from 9-11) As I got there the owner was yelling at someone who took his luggage down the stairs to pick it up and carry it by hand (there’s no elevator and the guy had a big suitcase he was bribing down 3 floors). The hotel canceled my reservation when I was away and booking contacted them on how to return the key and were told I need to leave it in a box. I’m then getting an email saying they took my luggage out of them room - without my knowledge, permission or prior notice, and put it in the reception area where there is no one there. So basically my luggage with passport could have easily been stolen. Then they claimed I caused damage to the room (I didn’t) and HELD ME AT THE HOTEL AGAINST MY WILL. LOCKED THE DOORS AND CALLED THE POLICE. Clearly the police came and didn’t do anything and let me leave with my luggage, but just the experience itself of being LOCKED BY 2 SCARY MEN is not a pleasant one. THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE A BIZ LICENSE, and even without this experience this is a disgusting hotel, with creepy gusts. I know it’s cheap (that was my consideration) but it would be better to pay $20 extra and get a normal hotel or pay $20 less and go to a nice hostel that’s at least nice, friendly and clean

An old style “hotel” with the basics for a few nights city stay. Room clean but bland - some color or a picture on the wall will make it feel less like a prison cell. Only 2 toilets and two showers on the floor so sometimes a wait. No laundry or kitchen facilities for guests. Breakfast is a (weak) coffee, a bread roll with s slice of cheese and salami. The location is a short walk to the Forum Metro and a large supermarket. A 30 minute walk into the city, Tivoli park area. Price was high for what you get but maybe par for Copenhagen.

I stayed in a private room for one night. I preferred it because it was affordable compared to other hotels in the city. The room was clean, the people at the reception were friendly. Since I did not have high expectations, I did not see any negativity. Having a fountain in the room provided convenience. But the fact that there was only one socket in the room created some difficulty. After getting off at the "Forum" metro station, you can walk for about eight minutes, the neighborhood gave me the impression of a quiet and safe place.

An absolute terrible hotel, not worth it even though you pay less than other places! We booked this hotel for my mother and grandmother when they where coming to visit me last week, but unfortunately due to car problems, they could not arrive the two first days as planned. My mother e-mailed the hotel, saying that they would arrive late the third day, and of course still pay for the two first days, since it was not they're fault they've couldn't arrive. They said this was perfectly fine, and that they could arrive at any time during the evening, giving my mom the codes for the door, and saying that the room key would be inside the room, and the door into the room would be unlocked. When we arrived in the evening, the door to the room was of course locked, and there was no way to contact anybody working their. The hotel also looked disgusting and smelled. We had to book another expensive hotel room, and take taxi there, as my mother has problems with walking. The next day, I called the hotel and told about the situation, and told how much we had to pay extra because they forgot to put out the key. His immediate answer was that if I wanted any money from him for this, I would have to sue him. After a log discussion, he agreed to pay back for the one night where they couldn't enter the room. We had already decided that they would not stay the two following nights as planned, but returned to the hotel to get the money for the one night. When we met the man in the reception, we started an argument because we didn't have 20 DKK to give him back in cash (he had 600 in notes, and the night had costed 580). We said we could wait while he could go to a bank or a store to fix it, but then i started yelling that he would not give us any money if we didn't fix this problem. Eventually, he gave in, but was screaming, yelling and threatened us, demanding us to...

I am a 20 year old college student, attending UC Irvine in California and am now on my first Euro trip. While preparing for this trip, I booked a hotel room at this establishment. I printed out everything relating to check in, including this reference number, and took a taxi from the airport to this "hotel". Upon my arrival on the 25 of August, I gave my booking reference to the staff at the front desk. He looked at the paper and told me he didn't know where my name was. After giving him my name as well as showing him my name on the confirmation sheet I printed, he told me that I did not have a room in his establishment. After asking why that was, he responded the transaction was incomplete and therefore forfeiting the room. I then explained that I gave all information necessary on your website and that the money had been taken from my account. Also, there were no indications anywhere that suggested that check in was incomplete nor that I needed to be in contact with the proprietor. He told me that he sent me an email that I did not respond to and that any complaints must be given to the travel agency. Knowing that I had not received an email, I asked this man if I may use his Wi-Fi to show him that the fault is his and I am entitled to be roomed. He told me that because I wasn't his guest he would not give me the code. His answers were very short, rude, unhelpful, and demeaning, and at that point there was nothing more I could do, so I left the establishment trying to find my way around Copenhagen, 1 hour after landing. I had to walk around for 2.5 hours, with all of my luggage by myself, before finding an establishment with availability and paying more...
