The interior is quite cozy and gives a Mexican feeling. The waiter (and chef?) didn't appear until a while later, but he was smiling and friendly. I ordered a burrito with chicken, while my boyfriend asked which was better from the pork or the beef, to which the waiter hesitantly, but honestly, answered he had only ever tried the chicken. I believe a waiter (and especially a chef!!!) should know their menu card to provide a better service. We didn't wait too long for the food to be served, but the dipping sauce for the sides, i.e. guacamole and some cheese sauce was definitely not homemade; the guacamole, supposed to complement the chicken burrito, was too watery and had an artificial green color, while the cheese sauce, complementing the beef burrito, had an aftertaste similar to the food additive butyric acid. The chicken had a very delicious seasoning but the wrap itself appeared to have its chewy parts, while the beef in my opinion wasn't anything spectacular, overall fine burritos, and sufficient size portions, but I don't think the food is a good price value (139 kr for each burrito), as I would expect higher quality, even from sides, for that kind of food...
Read moreNot quite what I had hoped for. Came on a Tuesday night, had reserved a table for 6pm and we were the only guests in the whole place upon arrival. The waiter seemed embarrassed that we were the only people there and ensured us that “it is usually very busy”. Right.
We sat down and got a few minutes to inspect the menu before the waiter returned to take our drink orders. We weren’t quite ready, his grunts suggested impatience and a slight annoyance.
When he came back to take our orders, a few of us ordered appetizers. We were told that they would serve the appetizers along with our main courses. Odd.
The food was acceptable. I ordered two tacos (“are you sure that’s enough??” - our waiter), which were smothered in what looked like a sour cream dressing. Not exactly traditionally Mexican. The meat didn’t taste fresh, the vegetables watered down.
There are much better Mexican restaurants in Copenhagen. This place was a disappointment for me to...
Read moreThe food was so good, especially the number 5 taco. It was really spicy, but so delicious. The service was really friendly but clearly pressed for time, as the place was busy. They got our drink order wrong twice, and our food order wrong once. None of us had dietary restrictions, but it's something to keep an eye on. We still enjoyed everything we got, and efforts were made to correct any mistakes. It took a while before we got our food, however, and at that point the server was not told of the mistake in the food order, because we were really hungry. The food was definitely worth waiting for though. If the server had been made aware, I have no doubt I would have received the correct food. The decorations were nice, but the music was much too loud for a place that small, especially when it was packed as full as it was when we were there. Overall, I highly recommend a visit. It was a...
