Zócalo - Fresh Happy Mex — Restaurant in Frederiksberg Municipality

It’s been a while since I’ve had tacos this disappointing.

Edit for specifics:

Ordered the Chipotle chicken tacos which looked fire on the online photos right?

A. There was barely any chicken on them. B. The tacos were so wet from the juices they looked like they’d been in the rain. C. The tortillas were so chewy & soggy they fell apart where I just had to eat the contents by themselves.

So to the owner:

increase portions by 1/2 to 1/3rd. I love the fresh fruit but drain them before putting on the taco. -love a soft tortilla but their integrity is contingent upon the previous issue.

Also chips & guac tasted like they originated from a dollar store.

My hopes were high but almost every encounter...

The burritos are fine, but they don't have the option of delivery unless you buy a combo. And get this: A combo is a burrito, some store-bought discount tortilla chips (which they actually dare call "nachos" 😂) and a soda can. For 165 kr... This means, they believe cheap chips + a soda is valued at 55 kr.

On their regular menu, they charge 30 for a basic soda can which is even more hilarious. Luckily mosts kiosks and supermarkets sell them for 10-12 kr.

I wish I could base a review just on the burrito itself, but the discount chips and soda shows such a massive lack of respect for the customers that it makes the whole establishment a...

My first visit to zócalo (Falkoner Allé) 8-12months ago was not nice. Poor service and the food wasn’t the best. Today my boyfriend and I wanted to give it another go as we live just next to the restaurant. The service was GREAT (Kasia is the best!) and the food was so much better than before. Especially the taco mix was good! We had the taco mix and a Dolores Green Bowl and you could just tell that Kasia put love into her work. She told us that the change of quality could be change of management and staff. Which makes sense and we could tell!! Definitely recommending...
