We have been dealing with the massive amounts of summer seaweed at Bavaro, and Maco beaches. We finally decided to pay the $24 fee to get into the beach club.
I'm going to come right out and say the $24 fee is worth it. The first reason being it's not just an entrance fee, the $24 is actually a credit that is applied for use when ordering food and drinks.
Trust me, if you like being at the beach the time will just slip away as you lounge at the infinity pool or take a dip in the sea.
The water was clear and despite other beachesas I said being overtaken by seaweed the shores of Cana Bay Area had none.
The food and drinks were great. Service was a little slow, but that could have been to the language barrier.
