Cana Bay — Attraction in Higüey

We have been dealing with the massive amounts of summer seaweed at Bavaro, and Maco beaches. We finally decided to pay the $24 fee to get into the beach club.

I'm going to come right out and say the $24 fee is worth it. The first reason being it's not just an entrance fee, the $24 is actually a credit that is applied for use when ordering food and drinks.

Trust me, if you like being at the beach the time will just slip away as you lounge at the infinity pool or take a dip in the sea.

The water was clear and despite other beachesas I said being overtaken by seaweed the shores of Cana Bay Area had none.

The food and drinks were great. Service was a little slow, but that could have been to the language barrier.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. Their treatment of tourists is outrageous. Never been treated so rudely. I was reprimanded for moving my chair out of the sun .The food, service and prices are absolutely terrible. The only good thing is the view of the beach, which you can get anywhere is PC! Go elsewhere Owners for new developments be aware when you buy you have to pay $500.00 u.s membership fee per person just for entry...

I wish I could of put 0 stars. Absolute worst service of my life. My food took 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive and it was cold and they started serving people that ordered way after me before I even got my food. They made a kid throw up because he was starving and was waiting for his food for too long. Absolutely...
