A peaceful and relaxing place just on the edge of town. We stayed in the adobe huts for 4 nights ($20/night). It was nice to be so close to nature and yet have all the facilities we needed to cook our own meals. Alicia and Orlando are both incredibly kind owners and it is quite impressive what they have done with the property. You can tell a great effort is put into maintaining this area and preserving it the way it is so that others may enjoy it. I’d stay here again if I ever come back to visit Vilcabamba. Read moreI honestly never wanted to leave. The first night we got in super late to camp and were welcomed with open arms. The camping area is so lovely with an outdoor kitchen and bathroom. Unfortunately it rained a lot and we did not bring the best tent with us. Alicia suggested we try a room- so glad we stayed for a few more days. We got the room with a kitchen. It felt like home.
