Hotel about 10mins walk from town centre, about 30mins wslk to waterfall and 15mins to hiking tracks||||Very quiet||||Excellent room with private jacuzzi, excellent bed, clean tiny toilet. Very nice room with view to Mandango mountain and valley (note: We got an upgrade to the suite, wow!).||||Breakfast very good, American with fruits, eggs, yogurt, bread, juice, etc.||||Had dinner twice, very tasty and fresh, usual prices like elsewhere, very recomendable restaurant||||Have a massage there, great!||||The not so good:||Pool table needs a makeover||Gym needs some refurbishment||Change of towels up to the guest but they change them daily anyway, so much for being ecological...||last orders at resto are at 1930... But we must say that we were the only guests in the entire hotel.||||||The bad:||Jacuzzi next to the pool looked enticing but on a closer look the water loopked like a darker chicken broth. We could not dare getting in there. The main swimming pool looked okay though.||||Staff very friendly. ||||Recomendable and I would go there again but avoiding weekends since one of the guys told us that the place gets packed on weekends... And the pool is open to...

The room was large and had a jacuzzi, nice deck space; who could ask for more? So, aside from the lack of onsite food, my spouse then tried the Jacuzzi; it filled with rusty, tepid, not hot, water. Lovely. Gave up on that idea, too. So we decided to go to sleep. Not to be; dogs barking incessantly just outside the gate in a private compound kept us up for several hours longer. Calls to the front desk were never answered, and walking down there, found no one. The next night was worse, although the restaurant did open up because the place was filling up. Then it was party central, yelling, doors slamming, people running up and down the stairs, etc. until midnight. Of course, no one at the desk to complain to. I tried to explain the problem in the morning to the desk person, but oddly enough they only understood my Spanish well enough to make sure I paid my bill. Also, wifi is horrible or...
Read moreWe went here for a birthday celebration, this is a grand place with seating for 100+ so problem finding a seat. The place is wheelchair friendly, not so much the bathrooms. The tables and chairs inside are rustic and heavy, the area we were in was clean, we were the only people in there, so service should not have been a problem. Very limited menu which for my part is great, simple means usually better food. After taking the orders it took some time for the food to come out. In that waiting time they could have brought out the salt pepper etc. So the meals arrived the came the cuterly, the we had to ask for salt pepper mayonnaise Ketchup and napkins? Halfway into the meal the drinks came out? Credit to them the food was good, just crazy backwards service. For me one of the best things was no TV no music, so we had no problem hearing our conversations. Last there is plenty of parking and as a customer you are able to take advantage of the facilities on offer, such as the...
