If you go to the far end of this temple you will find mysterious 2 rooms with sunlight falling in the middle of the room from small opening in the celling

The temple of Ramses III at Karnak is a small but distinctive monument that reflects the king’s devotion to Amun-Re and his desire to link himself with the great religious center of Thebes. Built during the early 12th century BCE, in the 20th Dynasty, the temple is located within the precinct of Amun at Karnak, not far from the main axis of the great temple. Although Ramses III is best known for his vast mortuary temple at Medinet Habu on the west bank of Luxor, this smaller shrine at Karnak was constructed to ensure his presence within the most important sanctuary of the New Kingdom.

The temple follows a compact layout, consisting of a pylon entrance that leads into a small forecourt flanked by colossal statues of the king. Behind this lies a hypostyle hall with eight papyrus-bundle columns, richly decorated with reliefs showing Ramses III in the company of the gods, making offerings to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Beyond the hall is a sanctuary dedicated to Amun, which would have housed a cult statue. The walls are covered with carved scenes and inscriptions that emphasize the king’s role as a pious ruler, victorious in battle and chosen by the gods to maintain cosmic order.

While much smaller than the grandiose additions made by pharaohs like Seti I, Ramses II, or Hatshepsut, this temple reflects Ramses III’s careful attention to religious tradition. By building at Karnak, he ensured that his name and image would be eternally associated with Amun and the heart of Egyptian state religion. Today, though often overshadowed by the towering pylons and obelisks around it, the temple of Ramses III remains a valuable part of the Karnak complex, illustrating how even later New Kingdom rulers sought to secure their place within its...

The entrance to the temple is amazing, with many statues of Rameses III, which then lead to the temple where the priests were doing some specific things. Inside, the temple is with a large number of hieroglyphs, and to the left and right sides of the back of the temple were two smaller rooms where they kept things for the specific rituals that were being done. If you look in the upper part of the temple, there should not be any remnants from the fire burning, but because locals have used these ruins as their housing, they were burning fire inside, so there are dark spots, residue from the fires. Ancient Egyptians used salt in their fires, which why there were no remnants from their fires. All in all,...
