Ugala Theater — Attraction in Viljandi linn

The theatre itself was great. A smooth communication for booking group tickets which were sent on my email. How much easier can it get? The play was funny, the actors did a splendid job and it was all really great. All except the Cafe. It is easy enough to book a table online for a small party but if you have to organize something for 30 people then you have to call them. The girl answering the phone doesn't know anything and shared the managers mobile number. This, however, is constantly busy. She texted me to text her my needs which I did only to never get a reply. How rude is that? In the end we decided that it wasn't worth it. Also if you have 2 plays on at the same time and one lasts a lot longer than the other, perhaps it would be possible to not have the both the intervals at exactly the same time? Everything sorted itself out eventually, though, and we had a great theatre experience...

The building is novel, large, spacious and gorgeous, zero complaints about the structure. The play was good but the acting was not the absolute best (don't get me wrong, it was nevertheless good and enjoyable). The wardrobe is big and there are drinks and cakes available to be purchased (the prices, however, could be a bit lower). Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend visiting Ugala for everyone interested in theatrics. Viljandi itself is also beautiful, featuring one of my favourite lakes in Estonia. Название для общества придумал Фридрих Кульбарс, соединив названия мест Уганди и Сакала. Профессиональным театром Угала стал в 1926 году. До начала Второй мировой войны, театр работал в нескольких местах, в 1924 году театр нашел подходящее место на втором этаже трактира Сеасааре.
