Top choice, but also maybe the one of the only choices, in Viljandi, if you happen do be one of the few foreign tourists dropping by. It's nothing like a backpackers hostel, but more like a B&B or guesthouse inn. Staff are courteous, modern, cosy rooms with twin beds, attached bath and TV (with 4 channels mostly in Estonian), 25e for a single. Even mid-range travelers should be happy with it. There's a kitchen, gym that hardly seemed worth using a sauna too for guest use, but it was closed a lot. Wifi was excellent, but sporadic inside the room. My room was overlooking the adjacent restaurant terrace, which meant noise/cigarette smoke coming up until late, and also made it a bit funny using the balcony. ||||So, apart from these niggling things, Ingeri is a top choice...

Rooms and the hostel itself were very clean, and we had no issues getting by with only English. One star taken off for service however - as soon as we arrived it seemed like all staff left, and they weren't there in the morning either for checking out. The tourist office is across the street, and there's a good restaurant next to the hostel. The room is nice and clean, very comfortable.
