We had the worst nightmare ever! We had a reservation for 6 to celebrate the graduation of university. First we had to wait for half an hour for our drinks and then ……We had waited for an hour for our food when I finally went to ask what was going on… i have to mention that the restaurant wasn’t overbooked - 3 (larger) tables outside and two inside…. Then they had the audacity to tell us that the food will take another hour to get ready because the bigger tables, who casually just jumped inside are a handful of work and they have so much to do with them, that they just delayed our orders (they literally lifted our food orders for later). “EXCUSE ME?” I asked because I thought they were joking but they were serious! So they literally said to my face that your prebooked table is not valued by the restaurant (we who chose the place carefully and have always had a nice vibe there) and that they first need to serve the bigger tables outside who just wondered in… unbelievable how this restaurant is still working, because no matter what they would “gift” us for the wait, this arrogance can not be tolerated…… so sad that such a beautiful place has such a...
Read moreWe were really disappointed by this place. We ordered the vegan brunch for 22 EUR for a couple. While as a non-vegan you would get omelet, smoked salmon, vegetables and spreads, the vegan "alternatives" were just sad - we got probably a violife cheese and something unrecognizable (I think it was maybe eggplant with spices or something like that) that we just couldn't eat because it wasn't good. So we basically paid 22 EUR for pesto, jam and vegetables. This is by no means a reasonable alternative for vegans and definitely not worth the 22 EUR we paid for (tofu costs 3 EUR, you could do tofu scramble or anything of that sort), and this attitude of just getting less as a vegan for the same price as the non-vegan one is really old, we could get 2 vegan pizzas in a different restaurant for this price. I definitely do not recommend this...
Read moreThe ambiance of the restaurant itself is great, it has a romantic and classic vibe. It fits both semi-casual and formal dining preferences. The servers are kind and easy to talk to, and they explain the menu very well. And the food itself is amazing! I have eaten here a few times and I definitely recommend their creamy seafood risotto! The mussels blend into the dish without making it overly salty, the shrimps are cooked to perfection with a great bouncy bite to it, and the salmon is pan-seared gorgeously which retains its slight crisp and the seared flavor even while being in a creamy risotto. The risotto itself is creamy and perfectly al dente! Desserts and drinks are also delectable; creme brulee, cheesecake, croissants, apple donuts, iced coffee drinks, glögi, everything! Would love to visit...
