Natural History Museum, Addis Ababa

Natural History Museum was founded in 1955. Since then, it has been the only natural history museum in Ethiopia. It is housed in the Science Faculty Department of the University of Addis Ababa. You can see about 1100 species of African animals. These were collected by Mr. S. Patrizi at the time of the Italian occupation. Other university staff and students contributed to it as well. Best place to visit . It is found inside Addis Ababa university , College of natural and computational science compound . Several wild animals are found reserved ( killed and dried ) It has entrance fee For regular students (AAU students ) and children - 5 birr For adult Ethiopians - 15 birr For foreigners - 100 birr If you want to record and take a picture you have to pay another fee .
