Definitely worth the walk down to the bridge. If we hadn’t climbed up to the vantage point, we wouldn’t have known there was a bridge there. Breathtaking view of the mountain range and gorge. Be careful as you are walking down to the bridge. Lots of loose rocks and stones. Photo opportunities galore.

An 1734 buit bridge. Nice views from it Unfortunately if you pass the bridge from Briancon, and go uphill, you can not visit the Fort de Tete, only at your own risc, because it's an abandoned military base, and you have warning signs at the entries.

Lors d'une balade dans cette ville est impensable de ne pas passer par ce pont, c'est sans doute le plus beau paysage des Alpes (voir photos) L'histoire de la formation de ce paysage est la plus belle qu'il soit, je l'ai étudié durant mon cycle géologique de terminale S, je veux bien vous croire que ça ne paraît gère intéressant dit comme ça mais n'aimant pas la géologie j'ai tout de suite été passionné par cette histoire qui est clairement aussi belle que ce paysage, c'est pourquoi avant de vous joindre sur le lieu je vous conseil de faire un détour dans un endroit qui saura vous en parler, en faisant appelle à un guide même tout simplement sur internet.

Never do Bungee from that bridge. Just been there today, seeing bad equipped stuff drinking hard alcohol just before tourist arrived for the first jump. The nice spot underneath the bridge gets entirely occupied by a fotographer yelling at other tourists to leave because the sport is reserved for them. Just wanted to take a cold bath and needed to move. Pity for the beautiful City of Briançon. Amateurs making money with...
