Great place to visit. €3 per adult gets you entrance and a very interesting guided tour of the place, which takes about 30 minutes. You may need to wait a little while for the next tour to start and whilst there are a few locations you can look around whilst waiting, do be prepared to wait once you've exhausted those. Note that you have to take a tour to go around the vast majority of the fort: you can't just wander round unaccompanied.
Guided tour was delivered in both French and English (after the guide checked who spoke what) and was excellent.
The fort itself has a lot of interesting history, and the views from the top, of Antibes, Nice, and - on a clear day - Italy, are well worth the trek up the hill.
Be sure to take water if it's a hot day: you may be there an hour, and...

The fort is built in the shape of a star so that it corner of the fort has an unobstructed view of the surrounding area. It’s a great hike around the outside of the fort where you can see parts of modern Antibes, the marina, the rocky coastline, and a sandy beach area. The fort is open year round although hours and days to vary based on the time of year. Tickets are only 3€. I would suggest allowing yourself about an hour to walk around the inside of the fort. There is a lot of history...

The fort is extremely poorly signed from the main road, and after a long walk in the heat (part of the main walkway was closed with no explanation), we eventually found the entrance. Unfortunately, the attendant told us she was closing for lunch and to come back in an hour (despite the website stating it was open all day). There were no signs anywhere along the route indicating limited hours.
The staff member was unhelpful and rather rude, which really soured the experience. After such a frustrating journey, we didn’t bother returning. Antibes is beautiful and worth visiting, but sadly I can’t recommend the fort based on how...
