The Hop Store — Restaurant in Grasse

I had heard a lot about this pub in Antibes as an exceptional and unmissable place. That's why I went there with some friends of mine to have a drink and enjoy this late afternoon. This Friday August 5th around 5pm we were very badly welcomed by a blonde waitress who didn't speak well to us for the orders and who didn't want to serve us the famous draught beers of this pub even though she saw that we were of legal age (22 for me and my friends) on our passports. Afterwards, this disrespectful service did not end. Indeed at the time of paying the bill by credit card the waitress spoke again very badly to my friends and me so that we pay in cash. I was extremely shocked that a waitress wouldn't even let me choose how to pay. If you have the misfortune to run into this waitress and her more appalling welcome than a Stephen King book, I advise you to flee the place!!! We made a long trip to visit Antibes and this Hop store with its service has deeply disappointed me I hope that the manager of the Hop store will do what is necessary so that this kind of service doesn't happen anymore to travelers coming just to have a refreshment on vacation with...

I visited this many times bar and had very unpleasant experience due to the rude behavior of the staff. When we arrived, we were not greeted or acknowledged by any of the employees, and it was difficult to even get their attention in order to order drinks. When we finally did place our order, the bartender was incredibly rude and dismissive, and seemed annoyed that we were even there. The other staff members were not much better, and seemed to be in a bad mood for the entire time we were there. The rude behavior of the staff made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, and we ended up leaving early because of it. It's a shame because the atmosphere and drinks were good, but the staff completely ruined the experience. I hope the management takes the necessary steps to improve the behavior of their staff, because I would not want anyone else to have to go through...

When the time comes to relax you might want to enter some kind of place where beer flows like a river and the music fills up the hearts of the dedicated foam lovers. The Hop Store attracted me from outside and charmed with its insides: looking like an enormous barrel it hosts not only amiable bartenders but also amazing live performers. I was lucky to attend the appearance of the Tarantino-style looking band, which just blew my mind with their skill and quality of an act. Also this bar can be named as a place of delicious and cheap french fries, however, be cautious during the night the kitchen can be closed, so you will need to enjoy only the goblet of cold one. And finally I would say that despite of the top class music they could have reduced the loudness a little, and then the place would be a perfect corner for...
