This is the lousiest bank we have ever had to deal with!!! The migration from SMC to SG was a masterpiece in how you should not run a migration project. They did not even master to put in the names of me and my wife correctly, so our bank account names never matched our real names, those also being the names we have with French tax authorities, which gave us extra effort with tax authorities to proof that bank account belongs to us. This alone tells you that their IT is not nearly on a level where it should be in 2023 - completely unacceptable not being able to master such small challenge. The worst however was their communications. Communication on the individual migration steps was poor on a company level already, but their employees made it even worse. When they wanted something it was to submit to them in very short time. When we wanted something it took up to three weeks to get their response, and in most cases their response was generic and useless. Service of their employees was slow, lazy and of low quality. For Mr Compostella we also need to add that he not only appeared not interested in really helping us with our matters (his messages were more like text messages without substantial content), he consistently had inpolite manners (like starting any message he sent without salutation and ending it properly) and he even went to rude tone at times. In the end with closing our account he did not even respond anymore on the wrong settlement they made. The bank still owes us like 30 € they have incorrectly not transferred to our new bank account. This is now the cherry on the cake and triggers me writing this review, we can’t let such guys get away without consequences. only asset was that he spoke English. We clearly cannot recommend this bank / branch office for foreigners anymore. The worst bank we had to deal with in 40 years of my banking experience… and as an entrepreneur we work with lots of banks, but SG antibes is clearly on last position. The service is so bad I am willing to go trough all the administrative process just to get out of this bank.I don't know what is experience for french nationals but if you don't speak french enough you're screwed. I have been client for 6 years and it was ok before, I had a wonderful gentleman who spoke great english and was very patient to explain everything i needed , but he left and everyone that came after him was mediocre at best, but the lady that is at the reception now is just rude and not helpful at all.
