Yesterday I went to Choi-Photos which is located in Galeries Lafayette in Marseille. I went there to make application pictures that I needed for job applications in France. I was happy that I only had to pay 13€ for four pictures and I was very pleased by the quality. When I arrived I didnt really know how my application pictures should look like regarding the background, light, posture and so on. Therefore I was happy that the staff was really helpful and asked me for the exact purpose of the pictures as well as the industry my job would be situated in.

Normally I have problems to smile artificially. The photographer helped me though and finally I was able to get very good pictures with a friendly and natural smile. I liked that the photo studio gave me plenty of time to choose the best picture on their computer. I even could do a favorite list of pictures and finally I was helped to choose the most appropriate one.

To summarize my experience:

Today, April 24 2015, I went the photo shop Choi-Photos to make a new picture for my CV. I am an exchange student in Marseille and urgently needed a goood picture for applications regarding my internship. Finally I found this nice little shop which is located in the famous Galeries Lafayette close to the old harbour. The staff there was really nice and invested a lot of time in my questions and ideas about the photo. After carefully asking me for the precise purpose, industry and country the application with the photo is going to be send too, I was able to choose a nice background and we got started.

The photographer made a very competent and experienced impression and took his time to make pictures from many different perspectives. At the end I spend twenty minutes choosing the best pictures and finally picked a photo I am really happy with. The fact that I only paid 13 € for four pictures was very satisfying since I am a student with a small budget.

I can highly recommend this photo shop and will come again if I need...

I were looking for a photograph for my linkedIn profile. The photograph took its time to understand my objective and the context. He explains me how he intends to proceed to make to reach with my objectives before starting the shooting after I had access to a clean box at Galerie Lafayette to put my suit. We went up to 93 pictures and I enjoy the time despite I don't use to like taking pictures. The photograph gives the opportunity to pay for your pictures or not depending if you like it or not. We took time for selecting the picture and I eventually selected 10 pictures with 1 complementary picture all of them edited at a price of 145 EUR. I found the price fair considering my objectives, the job which has been done, the possibility that I have to send back by email any picture I bought for for rework.
